Latest video released by Carlton titled "I am Murph" makes me wonder if it is because he will be captain next year.

Thoughts? Have a watch of the video and see if I am reading between lines that arent really there, or are a better detective than Batman!

Yeah, nah, could be. I guess. Not sure it's worth reading too much into it just yet...

Will, given Mick's done nothing since joining the meedja but bang on about how over-reliant on Judd we are, the only reasonable course of action would be to give the captaincy to Murph and let Judd just play footy.

Murphy isnt ready yet. When Cazz got injured and he got tagged against the Saints he started sooking.

Needs to remove this from his game before he can be captain.

The standard needs to be moved higher, can not return to ordinary captains like Ratten/ Kouta/ Whitnall.

Must aspire to be like Kernahan, 100% effort every week.

Carrazzo for me.

If Laidler can get some proper game time in the next 2-3 seasons I see him next in line more so than Murphy.

So you perceived that he 'sooked' in one game and because of this he can't be a captain. And this one off 'sook' has become an over-riding factor affecting his whole game. So much so, that until he can stop sooking so much, if he was made captain he might even be an ordinary captain like Brett Ratten, who apparently didn't give 100% effort every week like Kernahan did.

 :screwy:
