I think Essendon* run the actual fixed merchandise shops. But Carlton sets up their own store at home games.

Essendon*'s agreement is that if any tenant gets a better deal, it has to be matched for them, not that no-one can get better. But does that mean they get to vet our contracts to check???

I am starting this thread again, but a week earlier.

Apart from the exceptional first year of 2000 (read the thread), having a home ground at Etihad will not generate a Premiership.

Anyone notice Elliott running for deputy mayor with his mate but more importantly one of his goals is to develop under-ground parking at Princes Park. Its to stop cars from coming into the city.......go Jonny go.......I know what will be next as well......love it. There is fight still left in the man!!!!!!!

The only time we will see a serious positive spike in our membership is if we move to the G.

Sydney... so the secret to flags according to you is venues that you can call home with a capacity of less than 40k???

wow!!!... i see....!!!... ok.... im getting a better insight into your thought processing now.

Why don t u just say... that if a small club gets its shit together.. it can win flags!!.. that sounds much more reasoned than your feeble attempts to justify whatever youre trying to say...

i think with some of these people.. if we get some more i nside contested footy guys.. and our outside run fails us because of it... we must then move back to the dome.. cos we will be too slow on the open spaces of the G.

wat we need to do is every year chec k our list... if we have more outside runners we ask the AFL to schedule us on the G.. if more inside types we can ask them to schedule us at the Dome....

Then see how we go in the finals......

Stop comparing us to Geelong when it somes to grounds. They've a city to themselves, us a suburb.

That's the AFL Commission argument. Carlton should be standing on its own two feet and controlling its own destiny by making decisions that benefits themselves...

The glory of the blockbusters in front of 34,000

Where they will play soccer games says Cook.

Why will they?
There is a magical stadium already designated to soccer
