Does anyone know when his contract expires?

Is the talk of his relationship with MM true ?

Wasn't he also a big factor in getting Judd to us?

Probably the two biggest signings we've had in a long long time.

Did he leave Collingwood when MM was coach?

Did the current board tell him to pull up his socks several months ago?

I've heard strong rumors that Swann will be off to the VRC.

Yes

Pratt was far more influential.

Did he leave Collingwood when MM was coach?
Yes

Did the current board tell him to pull up his socks several months ago?
That's whats been reported. He was told at the start of the year to improve. It has also been reported that the Board is happy with his performance in 2012. I wonder what they base this on? Can't be membership.

Thanks Freddy,

I knew the answers to the questions but more trying to make a point to Cimm that Swan and MM might have a strong relationship but it did not stop Swan from moving employment.
If the board think he should be moved on then his relationship with Malthouse won't save him.

On the topic of assistant coaches, apparently we are talking to Andrew McLeod.

One of the all time great players, not sure he'd be the best coach.
Ling was someone that had to battle outside his limitations.
McLeod had few limitations. He worked bloody hard to have such a long and successful career but his natural ability meant players had to work him out not vice versa.

McLeod sounds a bit like Blight and Roos when you put it like that.

If this is the case, we're drafting Dayle Garlett at #11

Well that would be a sight with the indigenous mosquito fleet running rampant on the MCG.

Well if that's the case, he can't come to Melbourne as a part-time coach.....that's a full time job in itself

Has Mick called Shane O'Bree yet?
He was one of his favourites.

O'Bree is coming back to Melbourne. Pretty sure Mick would have had a chat to him by now.
