Interesting reports of Jonathan Giles returning home but to Adelaide FC ($$ spare and looking for a Tippett replacement I'd say).
Opens up requirement for rucks @ GWS, enter #11 & 22 from CFC in trade talk.

All our ruckmen are contracted. Gives us more room for better offers should clubs like GWS be interested in Warnock...

might actually reduce the return due to the contract that has to be paid.

Suppose it depends on their interest in our players and how much of a need it will be with Giles likely to leave.

Bell and manager may be looking at other clubs if Carlton doesn't promote him to the senior list, if this report is true.

It's actually a very interesting discussion - can we afford to elevate (in terms of draft picks and list balance) all of Bell, Casboult, Tuohy and Curnow to the senior list?

Would like to keep Bell, be a shame if we let him walk, but he needs a few more games to prove his worth, same as Casboult. Going on form, Curnow has stagnated, if not gone backwards since his head knock last year and Quadzilla???? Not sure what MM will have in mind for him.

Already gone: Russell, Thornton, Kerr
Out: Bower In: Casboult
Out: Joseph In: Tuohy
Out: Ellard In: Curnow
Out: Davies In: Bell
Nominated Rookie: O'Keefe

3 live picks, 4 rookie picks, 4 upgraded players

or do i have the maths wrong?

I'd never be a good assistant to Walter White.

No nominated rookies this year.
Also teckno, Ellard ( who may be traded) and AJ have contracts, they won't be delisted.

Personally, I'd try to get a trade for Curnow.
Otherwise, he can stay on the rookie list. I would be elevating Bell, along with the other two.

With a new coach that doesn't mean anything.

We may have to look seriously at trading a few players for picks.

It still does actually.
Although according to a BF poster, Ellard has requested that we look for a trade.

How? You can still delist them, you just have to payout their remaining contract.

Yep, so you need to fit the rest of their contracts into the salary cap (this year's one)
