Do not believe that he would have met with our people on Friday a day before he was playing a final,
this is complete garbage, this would be so unprofessional & unethical for him to do this.

He's a Cloke

Might've just been his management though.

If he was there, probably sums up what he is.

If not. Well yes, he's a Cloke.

I have a very good sauce, and yes he will be staying at Collingwood.

You probably have a 50% chance of your guess being correct.

I have come to the conclusion that no one knows what's going on. One minute he meets with us and is signed the next he will stay.
It changes day by day with this family.
I suspect not even Travis will be 100% when he makes his decision.

Apparently has signed with collingwood, along with wellingham and goldsack.
Was never that close with malthouse.
Doing the traps is rumour , Tippet to brisbane, for million/yr. Find this one hard to believe myself.

So has your source told you that he will stay with the Pies or are you just making an educated guess?

Yup... he probably wont be going anywhere... Collingwood have indicated theyre coming to the party...

All these experts in the know, do not believe for one minute Cloke or his management meet with Carlton on Friday, any negotations or decisions will not be made until Cloke finishes his season, anything else is just hearsay.
Your post that he or his management meet Carlton on Friday, and then 5 hours later you post he is staying at collingwood on the eve of a final is non believable, no credible footballer or management would take this path.

Umm...happens all the time. The player is the one playing the final...power of attorney sits with Ralph Carr and David Cloke. They can meet with Andrew McKay and Greg Swann whenever and wherever they please and based on what i know - I'm in absolutely no position to refute what Synbad has said. More than likely the Pies will have had to have ponied up another year to the Cloke contract and restructure some mid-tier player contracts. Expect someone - like a Tyson Goldsack to be squeezed out.

I can appreciate what Synbad is saying but Mick's comments on Sunday that Travis is a 50-50 prospect can mean 1 of 2 things. Previously he had said he expects Travis t stay.

Either Mick is playing mind games with Collingwood or
he genuinely believes that Travis would prefer to play under him next year.

I don't mind either scenario

Well, Cloke is not a credible footballer, so I'd say the goss is probably bang on the money.

People should keep in mind that this whole Cloke scenario for the last few months has played out like an off-Broadway play and while there have been a few iffy performances from understudies with bit parts - for the most part it has received rave reviews.

In Act 2, Scene 1 - Phonse Carringbush (father to Elizabeth) suggests to Gregory (Elizabeth's love interest) that unless he makes a 'decent woman out of her' he risks losing her to Brighton Henfry. Elizabeth of course, has no interest in Brighton Henfry. Their family has been in a feud with the Carringbush family for over a century. However, town gossip abounds when Brighton Henfry is seen having tea with Phonse Carringbush. Gregory makes haste and rushes to be with Elizabeth. They are now betrothed - the marriage ceremony will be Act 2, Scene 2.

It would be better if you incorporated the Malthouse situation in it somehow.
