IIRC PWC conducted a special audit of Sonray. People tend to be in awe of big organisations. Big companies are not perfect.

His path has been bloced a couple of times prior.. and one of the reasons was Pratt....
We dont know the motive... but we do know the club is looking for a rudder right now.. and Fahour is seen as a rudder.

PS Mathieson isnt Jewish...

I hear at least one board member is excited but also nervous as whether they will be judged as having contributed enough. I think this is a great thing, as it will push board members to work harder.

Haha...not Sticks!

And I wish people would stop merging the religion thing with board personnel. It's not a factor.

Sayers would (will?) be a great get for a board position, but the bloke spends a lot of his time away from home - can't see him having the free time to sit in the the big chair, and to be the public face of the board etc.

The current situation at the club has the stench of 2002 written all over it the similarities as to what happen then to what is happening now is uncanny

Brace yourself for some sort of penalty from the AFL

Poor season - tick
Lots of injuries -tick
Respected young coach sacked-tick
Premiership coach brought in -tick
Rumblings about the board - tick
Talk of players taking a pay cut- tick
President outed -????
Salary cap breach-???
years of being shit-????

Let's not forget McGuire's 'bombshell' news that will 'rock the football world', seemingly due to be shared with us all tomorrow night. Brace yourselves!

We jest, though - right?

There's only two important questions re Sayers.

1) is he Jewish?
2) is he related to Leo?

McGuire's bombshell doesn't have Carlton in mind as much as he'd like that to be the case.

Sounds more of a gay player outing himself. Brace yourself.

Wow. Never thought of it like that. Cue twilight zone music.
There's more:
Captains both had vowels in their names - tick
Grand Final was in September - tick
Goddard was rumored to be coming to Carlton - tick
The Prime Minister was a shiela - tick
President was out of his depth - tick

We are in deep shit. I'm worried.
