Sounds like Carlton with Fev.......
Taylor Walker 5 goals, Crows into a Prelim.
This thinking is too simplistic, we could go back and forth with examples either way.
I highly doubt Casboult is the answer. It's not like he's got the yips... His kicking technique is fundamentally flawed. Even if it could be reconstructed, how long is that going to take?
Hopefully a new head of recruiting means we ignore players who can't kick. Baffling you can make it through the club's doors without being able to properly execute the key skill of our game.
It's obvious that Cloke would improve us. It's really just a question of the opportunity-cost of bringing him in, and whether it's too high.
Who knows? Maybe Judd has business life sorted after footy and could drop 200k a year to go out with a flag.
If the club is smart (yeah, I know, big if) there's ways to do this without screwing the pooch.
We need Hendo down back. Casboult kicks like a 5 year old. Mitchell has played one game and is years off. Waite plays 10 games a year. Neither of our three 200cm rucks are much good up forward.
I'm pretty sure the best contested mark in the game,
a power forward who has proven he can kick multiple goals in finals, and one who played his best football under our new coach, would make us a better side.
The only trick is that we also need to address our midfield depth, and the backline is a bit skinny too. List management... Hasn't been our strong suit.
Went missing again last night. He doesn't turn up every week. That's the reason he isn't worth 1 million a year. Collingwood won without him last night. We can win with out him, too.
