If only they drove around the place pissed, crashed into cars and did a runner or threw firearms off the Bolte Bridge then they might still get a game.

I don't think they mean in the Terry Wallace/Nathan Brown sense...

definate Whipping Boys

1. Andrew Walker (No more Big Marks)
2. Chris Yarran (Will cop it as soon as he pulls out of a contest)
3. Jeffy Garlett (won't even get a game)
4. Kruzer (New Josh Fraser)

Golden Boys
1. C JUDD
2. Smurph

Based on the output and leadership shown by Murph in the last 2 games, I doubt he will be a default Golden Boy.

Did you miss the 2011 season? (24 games, 56 goals - surely not too bad for mid-sized forward).

..i dunno, Murphy missed a month and a half and still managed to rack up the most contested possession at the club..

..as for Krooz, the ol' Malty is a big fan.. ..and considering the move to go after a bullocking ruck like Jolly, i can see Malty making Krooz our primo ruck..

1 season though, which to me lends credibility to the Walker = inconsistent* argument

*injuries also a factor

^^^^

..injuries would be the main factor, vs 'a factor'.. ..last year he excelled as a fwd, the year before he was gunning it as a running defender up until his broke his collarbone.. ..before that, he hardly played in 2/3 years easy.. ..and he's also a far better player fwd of the center, so playing him out of position isn't his call, so inconsistency needs to be balanced against these points.. ..there's plenty of arguement that for various reasons a heap of our playing list hasn't realised enough of it's potential.. ..i reckon the coaching of the past years has much to do with this..

To me the "inconsistent" tag means a player who is good one week and missing the next. I look at that as a mental thing - I don't think that applies to Walks.

Season to season fluctuations I reckon are most likely due to injury and/or limited preparation as a result of injury*. This is Walks for mine and I can't see MM making any difference on that one.

* Jordan Russel being a possible exception, but who really knows why he had one ripper year and little else.

Based on this season the entire list could be considered whipping boys for one reason or another.

and Tex will be happy to remind you of his greatness anytime. What he needs to do is realize he is not elite just because he thinks and says so

I think Simmo will be the chief pet. There was a little comment under his breath "how could I forget Simpson?" when he rattled off the international rules players he'd had contact with. Sounded like he had genuine admiration for #6.

Also think Kreuzer, Mitch and Brock will be favourites.

I think if Garlett brings next year what he brung this year, he won't get a game. And nor should he.

Judd will be his whipping boy.
When Malthouse went to Collingwood, his first priority to was break any influence Buckley had over the playing group.
With Mick, there's only one person with influence or control.
Lets hope its handled correctly because Juddys at the stage in life and his career where he wouldnt hang around for the same crap.
