That's four gone that most of us would've cut. Delisting tells me the club had no interest from other clubs in trading for them.

Possibly. But why enquire when you know they'll be more than likely delisted and can pick them up for nothing.

I mentioned this obliquely a week ago after Judd and Murphy said they want Cloke. Cas, Mitchell, McArthy,Henderson will all be affected one way or the other. Cloke is the kiss of death. So is Lynch BTW. We do not want either of them. We need to take the hard decisions and develop a young kid and then get six-10 years out of him.

The knock on affect has begun.

Joseph and Davies should be cut but White no. Injured most of the year and played okay on limited preparation when came back. Can't delist/trade everybody. Russell gone, Bower next, Thornton, Kerr. Keep one only of Ellard and Curnow. And I have probably forgotton a couple. There's a heap before White.

Edit: Kreuzer / Hampson / Warnock. Most probably Warnock.

Davies should stay. Has been injured and has shown some ability. Big bodied running player that needs a good pre season.

You don't just throw kids like him away. Give him a chance.

White should also stay. As good a FB as Jamison IMO.

Joseph should go but apparently has another year.

There is no footy god

I cannot believe what I'm reading from some people. White is an average player who gets on the park for less than half a season, and has for his entire Carlton career.

Pop Quiz:

White vs. Franklin - who wins?
White vs. Cloke - who wins?
White vs. Kennedy - who wins?
White vs. Riewoldt (either one) - who wins?
White vs. Hawkins/Pavlich/Walker/Petrie/etc

You've seen Jamo towel up some of those blokes, and despite his recent injury problems he's still played more footy than White in every season.

White is a medium/third tall defender, and at the very least was behind Laidler, Duigan, Gibbs & McInnes. You could make a case for him being at the same level as McCarthy, Bower and Thornton.

White and Davies should both go. Also one of Joseph or Ellard (to a lesser extent). We need to promote Touhy, possibly Curnow, and Casboult. Maybe Bell ? So we need room.

White staying would hinder someone like Mcarthy for example........

White is a back up player. I can see why we might keep him.
Would rather keep AJ than Curnow.
I'll back the club whatever way they go on Davies. I reckon he's got something.

Davies should be first to go based on performance. Lacks skill, awareness & discipline as a defender. Far better options available.
Kerr, bower, Thornton, hampson & curnow to leave one way or another also.
White survives as a depth player.
Joseph survives due to the fact he can play the pest role very well when required and 7 outs from senior list is prob enough.
Russell as well gone obviously.
Lodge, Carter, heyne & bray to be delisted off rookie lost also.
