So...has MM been signed up?

What if he actually wanted Russell on the list?

Did I miss another Kernahan press conference?

Russ was signed on a pretty good contract if i recall. Some salary cap space looks like it is being freeing up.

All the best to Russell. I liked him as a player when in form but was never the same after the two hip/groin ops after his best year.

I doubt this one will come back to bite us.

Very sad to see him go...Jordy was one of the good blokes. After meeting him a few times through our sponsorship group he always took the time to have a chat when our paths crossed.

Best of luck wherever you end up Jordy.

All the best JR.
After the 2010 elimination final against Sydney I thought he had the potential to become an a top liner.......unfortunately it has been all downhill since then.

Good luck to Russell.

Not doubting this in any way....

But if in fact it is the club that decided he was no longer required..... how does this work considering we don't have a coach?
Who makes this decision?
Is it purely for making salary cap space?

I believe list management might be discussed with a man with grey hair and a moustache, no idea who he might be.

If he resurrects his career elsewhere, good luck to him but after 8 years with average results and Mcinnes, Dale, Bootsma coming through, we need to move on.

Should've given him the arse to Adelaide when he had some currency.

What an absolute waste of 8 years.

Yep. it was right after we all took a vote on keeping for Prez in 2013.

GC were after him at one stage too from memory.

Good luck but our list will be better for it.

Had plenty of chances and rarely delivered. Correct call.

It's determined by the net loss from free agency based on AFL in-house formula. They did ok with the previous compo pick system, so I think it'll work out.

Farewell Jordan. Has there ever been a more average footballer to play over 100 games for Carlton? I can't think of one.

Brad Fisher?

99 for Fish.

Bye Jordy.
There were moments, unfortunately, too few.
Good luck.

That's what we're going to talk about? Guys, a little respect for the guy. He's not counting his cash and waving this club off with a wide grin: he's looked a shattered man all season.

Anyway it seems this is now official.
