Good luck JR.

Had the privaledge of sitting with him st this years sponsorship dinner. Genuinely loves the Blues. Was watching last years highlights a number of times, told me which games meant a lot, really enjoyed the early season win against St Kilda where Tex kicked the winning goal.

I think he knew the writing was on the wall going into this season. Was proud to have his name on he locker with some great names and I told him no one can ever take that away from him.

Farewell Jordan. Has there ever been a more average footballer to play over 100 games for Carlton? I can't think of one.

Other than one season was a list clogger. Nice guy and hope he finds a new club but the fact he played over hundred games says something about the club.

to some Rusell up as a player good physical attributes but poor decision maker. Eventually lost all confidence. Will be interesting to see if he gets a gig at another club and if he does how he goes. Austin has shown he probably isnt up to it and again that comes back to bad recruiting by the Blues

Rotten Ronnie Deiulio.

All the best to JR.

I think Doc believes Russell was afforded plenty of opportunities that were not offered to a number of others, one or two in particular ...

Cheers for that Brad.

Best wishes for the future JR, shame it didn't really work out with the Blues.

But Ratts kept them for 5 years.. Irish for 4 years... and Kerr 3 seasons (with no games?)
Next youll tell me Bower 5 seasons under Ratts wont be there too...

... and that Ratts is a good coach...

Remember he has contracted Joseph and Davies also.....

List management from a gun coach!!!

I think that goes to show how surgery at any time is extremely high risk.

He was close to the best athlete on our list at in 2010 but had hip surgery at the end of the season and became a shadow of his former self physically which clearly impacted on him psychologically.

Sad to see him go. At least he had one great season.

Good luck Jordy.

Only played seven games in 2012, three of which were top notch (and were all wins) and at least one as a sub.

Also a leader at the club too, rather than sulking at the Northern Blues for not getting a game:

Quote:
Lambert praised Carlton’s Jordan Russell as a close mentor

Not only suffered form loss and lack of opportunities in 2012 but also had to give up Twitter due to the constant denigrating barrage of numskulls out in la la land.

Not doubting this in any way....

But if in fact it is the club that decided he was no longer required..... how does this work considering we don't have a coach?
Who makes this decision?
Is it purely for making salary cap space?

Good to see Synbad still banging on about Ratten.

I can't understand how Russell showed so much in those couple of years and fell away so drastically.
