Malthouse wants Ling. Wants to get into coaching at same stage, but weighing up his options with owning half of Geelong, and media career. Makes me laugh, when I think of how over the top he was in his support of Ratten when Carrazzo was on GameDay. Was probably already in talks with MM then. (and he's under 60 )

As Kezza stated met with all assistants. Some assistants have locked in contracts, with the above 3 names "weighing up options". I have heard that Richardson is very much in the mix for Port.

MM met with Cordy. Not further info, apart from Barrett reaffirming the importance that Malthouse puts into sports science. No mention yet of Buttifant.

All of the above is from Damian Barrett so handle with care, although there is nothing there that isn't found anywhere on the 'net....

Also on the Port BF board reliable poster states that Burns has pulled out of the Port Adelaide job, and along with Simpson, Cameron and Ratten is in line to replace Mark Williams at GWS.

Okay, I was told last night that all asst coaches apart from Brown will go and MM will bring in own team. Most still under contract so big payouts.
