EXHAUSTIVE PROCESS AND REST ASSURED THAT EVERY FACET OF OUR SLOGAN
WAS CRITICALLY REVIEWED BY A SUB-COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD. AS A RESULT
OF THIS EXHAUSTIVE AND WIDE-RANGING REVIEW, THE BOARD HAS DETERMINED THAT
OUR MEMBERSHIP SLOGAN FOR 2013 SHALL BE: I AM STILL CARLTON.

These are all good for a giggle, almost as much as those we've actually used in recent years, but may I suggest that, rather than yet another cringe-worthy slogan, we simply don't have one in 2013?

Seriously, is one needed? Has anyone ever signed on the dotted line for the their footy club on the basis of a clichéd slogan? Even that old chestnut, 'any advertising is good advertising' must have ever-diminishing returns for us after years of this crud, as ridicule in football circles can only result in so many column inches and water-cooler jibes aimed our way.

Hire some good people, stop putting our collective feet in it, and have a period of success - that'll bring the members.

2013: let the football do the talking.
