Unless I am mistaken it's not possible to delist 22 players in one year.

Really over it all now. Just want to go to sleep and not wake up for 5 months or so.

Stephen Milne really is a vile human being.
His mate Goddard not far behind.

Ripper coaching.
Ripper development
Ripper focus.
Ripper team....

But none of anything he did for the team beats his ecit presser performance....

Of course he deserves his 500k.... we should give him a bonus too....

Pretty sure I heard how the players where going to win this for Ratts during week and how they want to send him out as a winner...... .....those soft girls wouldn't know what it meant to stand and deliver! Blame Sticks & Ratts all you like Synbad and maybe they are a little of the problem but right now, these players are a disgrace and they should never put on another Carlton jumper again. EVER.

How did these players find themselves wearing the navy blue? Walked in one day and just started kicking the ball around?

For losing an exhibition match? Harsh! Look, if you think the playing group stinks - join Synbad in blaming the recruiters...

   What a funny old season    Ah dear...it's been gone for so @#$%&! long it's hilarious to see some of you lot get on your high horse after defending the undefendable since mid-year (or when Ratts was just a dead man walking).

Hey Doc - when you make big statements, you must stand behind them. I knew this was a nothing game and that they didn't have it them, so why pretend? Although this lot is good at pretending.....you know pretend to care, pretend to tackle, etc...

It probably belongs in the slogan thread Surrey, but....'We are Carlton (circa 1990)'

Glad I didn't waste my time and go to this nothing game.

Was a carbon copy of the Gold Coast match...

Led in nearly every stat including shots at goal but inaccurate kicking and a lack of nerve at the end cost us again.

Did we win any close ones this year?

It has to start somewhere, unless a player or two has some evil influence over most of the rest of the list and puts voodoo spells on them so as not to kick straight, and to play selfishly.

Really, it's like a multi national company laying blame on their workers for the company going bankrupt.

What are you talking about? I get as frustrated with the use of Gibbs and the performance of Gibbs as anyone else. But he played midfield today. And he played well, until he tired towards the end. And he laid something like 10 tackles.

Terrible game.

Milne carrying on like a prize flog after the final siren sums that pathetic club up. Whoop-di-fucking-do, you finally overran an undermanned and horribly wasteful Carlton in the last 10mins of a dead rubber.

He got possies. he always gets possies. he kicked the ball blinlky from packs. He always does that if he finds himself in one by mistake. He tackled a few times including one really hard one in the middle of the ground but he persists in running past the player who has a free or a mark. He has turned into Campo.
In the absence of Judd in the middle, he should have been harder at it. he wasn't. he can't.

I'm surprised there is so much angst after this game. I think the result was ok, we outplayed the opposition with an undermanned side and have a higher spot in the draft. All good.

How did those ferals manage to draw?!!

Nice to see people finally coming around to my way of thinking. The season was done a long time ago. It'll all come out in the wash before too long.

Problem is Synbad then says we have a good list and its all the coaches fault. Makes it hard to follow.

Actually touched them up. Milne was rendered impotent and very lucky to get his only goal. Of the 15 free kicks we got about 5 of them were for ferocious tackles which were ruled holding the ball. People were predicting a 100 point loss and it ended up being 15 when we had two on the bench for more than half the game.

Watters can't have much upstairs when he's sprouting shit like this:

Quote:
do forwards often wrestle with defenders? Do forwards often target defenders? I don't think so, it's generally the other way around

Well, no shit.

If Watters and Milne thought that was torrid, I can't imagine the bleating we'll get next year if Malthouse is coach because he absolutely hates Milne.

I don't get what Watters is whinging about. Players like Milne and Montagna are some of the worst in the league at cheap shots.
