Michael needs to make Bryce Gibbs his no. 1 priority IMO.

We saw how well Daisy Thomas played under him...Malty really turned the guy from being an outside fairy footballer into someone that at least now has a much harder edge to his game and whose commitment to the contest is no longer questioned.

I'm hoping like hell he can do the same for Bryce.

Thats what Im looking forward to the most. What can he get out of Gibbs, Yarran, Garlett, Lucas, Mitchell, Walker & Waite. These guys has immense talent and IMO haven't got nearly the best out of themselves. Im very hopefull MM can do this. If he does we will advance quickly. :thumbsup:

FWIW - Dermie was asked on SEN this morning who he thought was the best coach in the AFL. His answer - MM if Carlton name him as coach. His reasoning was primarily that he gets his players to play for him and buy-in to the game plan. Has great man management skills and is a strong tactician. :thumbsup:

I would like to see us not get Cloke, Goddard, Boak or anyone of any significance.
I would like to see the master use the current list with similar injuries, suspensions and mental fatigue and see what transpires.
Any additional help from now on is not an even playing field.
So hopefully we'll do the right thing and go to the draft and top up with youngsters.

I don't agree Surrey I think we need to improve our list and any of those players would do it.
Chances are we won't get any of them .
If we don't get them I hope we get lucky with getting a guns ton type who has spent time somewhere else or draft a player that has an immediate impact like Darling when he first came into the game.
Agree that we need to work on developing further or fast tracking our youngsters
