Oh, we'll be hearing from Mrs.Malthouse. And his daughter. And Mick.

Until the club has effective leadership, MM will be the most dominant personality at the club by a considerable margin.

Preview of coming attractions. Better get used to it. I can only imagine what the weekly letter from the coach will look like. We used to laugh when these utterances were delivered by the Collingwood coach. Now it could be a little closer to home. He who laughs last....you know how it goes.

Look, no one wants to see anyone suffer. But it is important that MM keeps his personal life out of it. It achieves nothing and just gets more focus. With the media forums and hunger for news these days the affects on people are enormous. I see it nearly everyday.

We need MM the coach. Nothing else. Anything separate needs to be kept just that.

What is ‘plan b’ should MM back out and not sign on?

The board would look woefully inept if they acted on Ratten on the proviso of MM only to have him have a ‘change of heart’.

May be an unlikely scenario but they’d want to have all bases covered I would of thought.

Despite the fact that some here think the prez and others on the board are absolute fuquits, I am sure they aren't so stupid as to burn their boats without a pretty good indication as to what was happening with the prospective new coach. Lyon and Harvey anyone? That deal was probably done and dusted ten seconds after the GF if not before.

Gee, didn't realise Mick was so old and frail, guess he should give up the commentary and media work then in case it stresses him out a bit too much

I'd take Mark over Mick.

Problem is, Mark is perceived sometimes as a bit of a prick and players have a hard time warming to him.

They've got their mates to warm to. They should respect their coach, they certainly don't need to like him. bloody GenY nancies
