They've all been forced to put in a retraction some 5 minutes later.

This is the media trying to make us all look like idiots, instead of respecting the club process and the club itself. We're perceived as a soft target, and they just wail until the supposed pinata breaks.

This whole thing is getting uncomfortable. Ratten deserves more respect. If he does coach on Sunday, I hope he absolutely gives it to the media contingent at the presser!!!

I wonder if Ratts has said to a mate, "yeah may as well tell you, not doing the coaching thing next year" and that person has gone to the media.

Because I really do think the club made their minds up long ago - just wanted him to coach out the year.

but i do hear Ratts was unhappy and threatened not to coach on the weekend...

I think I agree with Mr. Sherrin, good luck getting the 95 reunion up and running....not that it wasn't a tough gig to begin with.

youd be excused for thinking we might even be abit amateurish.....

People think we dont give Ratten respect..... the club cant even exit him properly.....

Cos a smart club would have waited till the end of the season and told him... even if Ratten was banging on the door demanding an answer....

Truth is this was hatched up months ago... and the window was only going to make it more difficult....
The loss.... his grave was dug the players gave him a nudge....

Will be interesting to see what happens from now....

I always watch behaviour around this club more closely than whats actualy said...

It opens up a whole new world....
