Well, if you put it that way, I can live with that...easily.

Tanking.

So RoK and McCarthy to play? Put any other players needing ops in for surgery.

Apparently this is the club's member appreciation round according to the email I just got.
Methinks they realise that there's going to be bugger all people bothering to turn up.

Edit: Just realised that the email was addressed to Lil' Miss Wojee who didn't want her membership renewed this year, yet it clearly says "Thanks again for your support in 2012."
Ummm, good one :donk:

Get ready to pay Etihad management some money for hosting the game!

Be interesting to see what happens. Can't see the point in playing Jamison.

IMO Ratten will know by Sunday his fate. So what does he do? Play kids, don't tag? This could really be bruise free footy.

As long as Milne cops and uppercut to the jaw and left right hook combination flooring him in the first minute....I'm fine with whatever else goes down....

says a lot about attitude - saints had nothing to play for yet won by 21 goals, we had EVERYTHING to play for and lost
character and love of the jumper is how i see it

and now ratts concedes that they played players (gibbs, garlett) who didn't deserve a game - obviously doesn't read TC

Looks like there may be a couple of changes...

Quote:
Supporters may get a further glimpse of Carlton’s future on Sunday, with key position players Luke Mitchell and Patrick McCarthy both chances to debut against St. Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

While the call on Mitchell and McCarthy is yet to be made, Michael Jamison and Mitch Robinson are considered certain starters - Jamison having overcome a hamstring complaint and Robinson an eye injury.

Andrew McInness, who ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, is obviously unavailable, while Levi Casboult, who suffered a lacerated kidney in the Gold Coast contest, is considered unlikely.

Carlton General Manager - Football Operations Andrew McKay said Casboult was hospitalized on Monday night after experiencing pains in his back and abdomen.

“It’s nothing long-term and he’ll be okay, it’s just a slight cut on the kidney which has caused bleeding,” McKay said. “How he actually suffered the injury we’re not really sure, although we presume it was in a marking contest.”

Another member of last Saturday night’s 22, David Ellard, is facing a fitness test after suffering a corked thigh in an incident involving the Gold coast’s Campbell Brown, although McKay anticipated he would be right to play.

Would you seriously play Jamison? Coming off a hammy and w shoulder problems. What's the point?

Mitchell's not ready but I hope McCarthy, ROK & Lucas play.

Will Rohan Kerr get a run - considering that is what he has been doing for the Northern Blues.

Agree with this actually. Would have thought Bower & McCarthy would get the run this week.

At least if some of these guys get a run we get something out of the game. Would like to see O'Keeffe get a full game. Same with Lucas. Would like to see either McCarthy or Buckley or Mitchell. Or all of the above.

Why bother with Bower, he may not even be at the club next year, may as well play all the guys we haven't seen in the seniors yet...they may play as well as the GC players last week....

Pity we didn't have MM years ago JohnM. Fish wouldn't have got a game and your kids would still barrack for Carlton.

On a serious note and since you seem to know about these things , what do you think of the clubs decision to sub Ratts for Richo tmrw.?
