People will come out and blame the players and their lack of intensity and desire, though I believe blame should be shared with the coach. If you can't inspire your players then you shouldn't be a senior coach, it's as simple as that. This has happened far too many times in the last 5 years and it isn't good enough. We're not up against a top 4 side, we're playing arguably the worst team in the competition who supposedly have half a side.

I was leaning towards keeping Ratten but after this debacle I don't believe he's the right coach to take us to a premiership.

I"m not sure why so many posters are turning on ratts for this. It has been apparent over the last few weeks that they can play for him. This is much more about the players on the field than coaching. I don't think ratts is telling them to kick at 50% efficiency...

Last week didn't shock me, just as this week doesn't shock me.

I've seen enough examples of the best and worst that this side can produce to continually be not surprised by anything these guys dish up.

Thats why the pro/sack camps are constantly given so much ammunition depending on what week it is, when in reality its the glaring difference between our best and worst rather than one or the other which constantly haunts us.

Before the game you never know what you are going to get, but it's usually clear after about 10 minutes whether it's going to be our 'on' or 'off' week.
