If that is Ratten, so be it.

I have doubts as to whether it is. But maybe he's in a better position than, say, bringing in Malthouse.

I figure the best thing I can do at this time is to not worry about it and let it just take its course.

The club will get my $$ regardless!

If we lose to the GC, ratten's days as coach would be numbered.

And obviously if we win by 112 points, his days will be numbered too, because it's only the gold coast.

Getting back to this game, (I reckon we've got enough "who should be coach in 2013" threads). I'm thinking about who we should rest. Obviously we need a win, but I don't think it has to be huge, (thanks Bombers for that). We can afford to rest a couple of guys if they need it.

Krooz I've mentioned. Most of the other main guys have already missed heaps of football this season. Be nice to give guys like Lucas and Ellard a game though -- keep them in touch in case we need them in the finals.

Eddie, Jeff and Bryce are the only guys to play 20 senior games this year. I couldn't see Eddie putting his hand up for break now and the other two are just coming out of a lengthy period of iffy form, so will probably want to build on recent good performances.

Scotty and Army are next with 19. Wonder if either of them feel like a break?

I reckon after 5 years in the job there should be no doubts.

Why. There was doubt on Malthouse before 2010. Doubt on Thompson before 2007.

I am by no means saying this is areason to keep him, just that things are never clear.
