No Change

Make sure Jamison is right.
Ellard and TBird on hold.
ROK to get his chance...next year.

Bell and Casboult's form is sound enough for them to stay in the 22...could be permanents too.

No resting. Today's Hawks game should serve as a reminder of our relatively poor showing against GWS earlier this year. We need to be switched on and attempting to play at 101% until our season is over, whenever that may be.

I dont think North will lose to Freo. Freo is struggling really, and North and playing better and better.

I'm not so sure - this weeks match will be like a final for Freo whilst North don't have so much to play for after their win against Collingwood on Sat night :banghead:

Providing we beat the Saints and North beat Freo (hopefully easily), I want Freo to have a 5-6% percentage chase against Melbourne.

Not necessarily as Freo play Melbourne in the last game on their home ground.
Our percentages are relatively close at the moment and even if Freo lose against North and we win by 100 pts. we'd still be concerned about the following week.
Dependent on how much Freo beat Melbourne by, will determine how much we will need to beat St.Kilda by.

It won't be easy and if Freo do beat North, then it's pretty much all over for us for the year.

This.

Didn't we lose to pathetic Port, away, by 54 points??

Up there they have a win over the Tigers and ran the early season Bombers very close Rd 3, a week later the Bombers belted us. They also pushed the Cats pretty hard up there a few weeks ago.

All players on deck and minds completely in the zone, please.

Our performance against the weak teams like GWS & Port has not been that good. Some supporters are expecting us to just turn up and get a 60 point win. I think we will be lucky to walk away with 4 points.

Remember earlier in the season when Ratt's was talking about resting players like Geelong last year. Prophetically injuries started and form was lost after he made that statement.

If the MC has any sense no chance of players being rested. Oh Oh ....

Don't believe it. They're resting them.

I was playing with a ladder predictor today at work (yeah I was really busy..) and I marked the Blues down for a 100 point win against the Suns and marked Freo as a loss to North. From that, even if Freo beat Melbourne by 10 goals, we will still have a better percentage than them if we beat the Saints by 1 point. So long as we put a good show on against the Suns, a Freo loss will see us safe in %age.

If we win by 100pts our percentage will be about 115.8 up from 110, 5%. If Freo lose by 12 pts, they'll be down to 108, mans they have to win by lots more than 100 over Melbourne to catch up. All over red rover if we win our last game too. Even a 60pt win apparently get us to 113 according to the ladder predictor meaning a 100pt win to get Freo over the line, if we beat the Saints of course and our % doesn't change much.
