Why would that be. We often disagree on points. I'm amazed at the people on here that read what they want to read and interpret what they want to.

How about reading posts properly?

You're the worst at this!
Nah Synners is the worst. He can actually put words in your mouth and tell you off for saying them.

Its the spirit if football...

you know the umpires.... they have to be mind readers now to interpret the game.. and it rubs off on me...

Really good point....and I agree about flowering time....

I noticed a fair bit of that going on and where they were doing it wasn't going to hurt us on the scoreboard. I loved it. Great to see the boot on the other foot.

Maybe we're finally realising what ruthless means.
Maybe its all coming together despite missing all of our 3 tall defenders.

I absolutely loved it that we got two goals from 50m penalties. I have been watching that happen against us in Essendon* games for years and it was so good to hear all their flogs crying about it.

Yep Basil was gold. Pretty sure Vin wasn't going to fango him back unless......

How exciting was Bell coming on an belting a few in the last too.
Gibbs, carrazzo clearance work, Waite, big mean jean Levi and that goal, fantastic stuff.
Murphy sublime game.
Brock very good again. Robbo as usual cracking in.
Proud of all of them Ratts included.
Fulham 5 -0 too, it doesn't get much better.

You forgot Liverpool also lost 3-nil.

I loved it when in the 2nd qtr Casboult moved to the centre bounce for the first time.

"And Carlton is Rucking the Casboult. Levi in the middle."

Then cas does that lovely tap down to carrots for a clearance and then a walker goal approx 11 seconds later.

Watching this game reminded me of the great former players of the Blues - Kouta aka Bell, holding the ball with one hand, breaking tackles and making the centerline his own. Fev aka Levi kicking sublime goals from the 50 meter arc from impossible angles. God I love the Blues!

Look - we have no business being in the finals unless we can swing it that we play Collingwood every week.
The last month or so, I've just been barracking for Essendon* and Collingwood to fall over and I'm pleased we could play such and important part in screwing Essendons final chances.

We were allowed to play our plan A yesterday at our favourite ground the MCG and gleefully went about destroying an insipid Essendon* which was glorious to watch.

Not sure the saints will allow such freedom at Etihad in a fortnights time.

They certainly won't but we might be getting (finally) how to play Shitihad. Yes, yes it shouldn't take till round 23 to get it but better now than never.

Interesting to watch the Pies last night their players looked like they where running on ice and struggling to get purchase or keep their feet. Is the surface that bad?

Rubbish.
We perform and have done very well this year against Geelong & WestCoast as well.
Come September and with our players up we would fear no-one. Unfortunately this year we will not have our best team on the park but we will frighten all top sides if we met them.

What's the thinking behind this? North game, Bulldogs, Swans? Still somewhat unsure of our play at ES.
A functioning fwd line does help especially with our inclination to bomb it in long @ Etihad, which only the Swans game had going for it but only Waite's 1st game back.
That being said, if we can rekindle the fast flowing footy that dismantled the Saints last year and the year before there then we'll be A-OK. They turned the tables on us with the smalls getting the score on the board earlier this year.
MCG, Subi, AAMI, ANZ (have we ever played there?) should allow us to play better football if we kick into Sept.

Better personnel available plus accidentally unearthing McInnes, Casboult and Bell has made a world of difference.

I was wrong, we were ruthless in killing them off.

Need to get more percentage next week against GC and then beat the Saints which will be tough.

agree. mciness and bell out of the blue - but after levi's games in the finals for the bullies i had no doubt we had something there. how exciting is our forward line now?
