Bring on the bad weather.
Game will be on our terms because we've gone small and fast, but a lot of hard nuts too.
I'm tipping we'll be barging and slipping into their bodies before they get us.

Bring on the rain.....in Melbourne.

We'd win anyway....revenge.

If we hunt in packs and gang tackle with purpose there will be a few sore bombers and we would stand a fair chance of winning.

Hope we are not sucked in to overdo the physical stuff. No stupid 50m frees please unless you've buried the bloke into next season. Ditto for reports. Beat them on the scoreboard please. One point win would be good enough.

Guessing Walker or Waite could go back if needed so there is some flexibility for the boosting the backline if need be. PLease let any reactive moves not be at the expense of our capability to apply scoreboard pressure.

Very big match for Ratten. Would love to see him outcoach the Hird/Thompson act. There'll be more mind games until the start. Probably even with some red herring positional moves at the bounce aimed at throwing predicted matchups.

We owe this mob. Kick straight.

You missed a 'very'.

Every spare minute I have another look at the teams and match ups.

I can't help but be drawn to our midfield and the rotations we expect in there.
I think we have a good blend of personnel and should outrun the Bumbers, but also I can't see a soft underbelly there.
We look good. White and McInnes just have to spoil and the defenders around them can do the rest.
Duigan to cut any leads from their FF line.

What's the weather like and what do Melbournians expecting between 1.45 and 4pm?

I am so nervous about this game...I want to get on a plane this morning...I can't stand the wait.
Unfortunately and fortunately I have an important meeting this morning.
Come 1.30pm today and I'm glued on the set.

GO BLUEBAGGERS...this is the one...gotta gotta gotta win.

It's currently cloudy and drizzly.

Hard to see it not raining a bit this afternoon. Greasy at best I'd say.

The BOM radar shows it clearing up, although I have my doubts as to the accuracy, the blue is not the heaviest of rain, yet its pissed down all night out west.

I wonder if the Bombers will have a late change?

Greasy is perfect. Might be faster under foot, but once we're 5 minutes into a quarter, the ball will be soapy.

Jesus, listen to us praying for rain in order to beat the 8th placed team.

We're like St Kilda back in the 80's, when they used to turn the hoses on at Morabbin.

tbf, with our 3 best defenders out injured and needing to go with a small backline, it's far from favourable for us.

They're at full strength.

It's all relative.

I don't care what happens - we'll win this. From what I hear the boys want this and are really looking for the 1st bounce.
If we bring our A game and are switched on with ferocious / tough footy - we'll win and win well!!!!!

I hope Carrots goes to Stanton. He can never shut Watson down, and he always does a number on Stanton when given the role.

Preferably Murphy to go head-to-head with Watson. Or if they want to try and tag him, then use Bell.

We can only win this game if we dominate in midfield.

Don't take it the wrong way, but if that's true then this team is busted beyond belief.

They decide which games they really want to be up for, and which games they just turn up to?

How about they decide that they really want a premiership, and turn up to play every bloody week? They won't win every game, but they won't be dishing out the kind of crap that saw them get smashed by the likes of Port Adelaide.

Not taking that the wrong way at all. This is one of my biggest gripes too!
It's just not good enough, I agree.
