Who would you have dropped?
Judd comes in
Duigan can go to Fletcher or Crameri giving flexibility
who goes out?

Bit stiff on ROK but someone has to be dropped for Judd and he's the obvious choice. He'll be back next week against GC.

And you're surprised?

Such conservative and unimaginative list management. I tipped it last week when he was made sub.

But then again, we do have an imitator, not an innovator as coach

Anyway, three more rounds before the golden handshake

Come on tell the truth now 99

You've been dying to use that since you heard it somewhere at a work conference. You've just been waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Was it in a sick Power Point display put on by some hired gun Motivator of did your boss just show off with one of those magic laser pointers.

We are seriously short down back.

Bellchambers, Ryder, Crameri, Gumbleton and TIA (The Indian Ambassador), in their forward line at various stages.

If it rains we win, if it is dry we lose.

At least ROK will get in a full game in the NB's. That's what he needs most, he's 3 years behind on that score

With enough newbies already in the team, it doesn't surprise for some to miss out for such an important match.
O'Keeffe would be pretty safe now, so getting games into him is quite prudent.

Posts like that warm my heart because they demonstrate that you're coming out of that dark, desperate place you were in a month ago.
Welcome back Cazz.
Let's hope any events that may unfold over the next few weeks don't cause you to relapse. After all, it's only a game and the sun will come up tomorrow

i'm led to believe that O'Keeffe can stay on as a rookie next year.
Could be wrong and i'll bow to experts, but if that's the case there is no hurry.

My guess from my expert vantage point here is that a decision would already have been made that O'Keeffe will be re-rookied. It will be good to see him get a string of games hopefully sooner rather than later.

Watson has improved enormously this year and should be a level better again next year. His yo-yo act in and out of the team in recent months seems to be based on perception by the MC that he is more suited at present in certain conditions and against certain types of opponents. I hope that there is a well thought out program for his development because there now seems to be a fair bit of positive to work with there.

Off topic but I also hope that he isn't yet written off for at least some forwardline training in the off-season. I suspect he might be suited to full forward (.i.e deep forward) on a big ground if he can be taught where to lead to. Was way too far up the ground for much of the half that he played against Footscray but straightened us up a lot when he went to CHB after half time that day. I was at that game and having not watched the Blues live for a couple of years was particularly interested in the newer players and how the side tried to move the ball.

Every single person connected to the club wants us to win this week. Even the ones who want a new coach through to wholesale change at the club. Need to kick straight. Need our fair share of luck.

You do know he's been injured for most of that time so why would you bother with this post?

He's been available, in a fitness sense, for about 3 weeks. He shouldn't have played the game he did last year.

I'm not as confident as you SB (very pessimistic in fact)but at least we are hoping for the same result.

I hope we make the finals just to watch the post count drop to almost zero of some contributors.

Finishing 8th would be considered a success?

Losing to the Bombers is considered a good outcome from some.

Which would you prefer?
