Yes, I have seen our personnel. You mightn't bit I have. It does helps having Casboult and Bell, one or two can make a huge difference, you should know that if you know anything at all, especially in the right places in the guts of a contest. We are actually better placed now to absorb sides what most sides throw at (Hawthorn maybe not). Don't have to dish it, just asborb it well. The blokes we have in now are actually a bit better in that aspect even if we are unable to actually play as well skill-wise as we were. We matched the Swans well in every aspect of of contested footy even if we were killed in ball use, which, in turn, cost us badly in a 22pts game.
Still sticking to the same line I see.
If you knew anything you would know any new kids coming into any contact sport need the physical support and presence of their senior team mates, we don’t have that.
We also don’t have a coach that breeds that type of player and until we do we will always be that type of bullied team, but been a high end athletics coach you would know all about physicality.
Being a high end track and field coach has very little to do with understanding physicality and a is stupid and very simplistic point. Doesn't say much for you depth of thinking. If you want to go further I'm also a qualified Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer so I just might know a bit on the subject. Any going beyond the p1ssing contest, McInnes, Bell, Casboult and even Watson seem far more likely to absorb what's thrown in front of them than other's we've had previously. Then you have McLean, Armfield, Robinson, Touhy (a bit out of form admittedly) etc..plus Judd back and you might find we might be a little stronger in the clinches than we were previously. Might add Duigan and even Collins in there, you know the bloke that get carted off on a stretcher playing for Richmond only to come back on take two huge marks under physical pressure for 2 goals to win a game for them. Don't have to dish it out, just absorb it and not flinch. Maybe not as skilled as the other's yet but but better placed to asborb the more physical aspects. Difference is I look at the actual personnel not the stupid line "they're kids so they can't be as strong". Bell (a powerful 95kg mid) and Casboult bashing packs and bodies add alot of aggression, you know that, I know that, rest there won't flinch like others previously. Easy enough? That's the difference between some of us, some of us actually think other's just stereotype without thinking.
You stick to your line and I'll stick to my more correct line.[/quote]
Wow, not only are you an exercise physiologist but you also understand sarcasm.
You didn’t have to crow about been a personal trainer I figured that out all ready, and it’s not a high achievement pushing around fat guys that aren’t self driven or does that say more about your personality and insecurities than theirs?
Well I’d like to respond to your last post about why we are intimidated and are mentally weak as an adult but from what I’ve read from your previous posts you’ve got that covered as a thinker that you are and I wouldn’t like to take more time away from your mirror of admiration.
Ciao Bella.
