I've got a bad feeling about this game.
How did we end up favourites again?

Well, to be fair, it's because our form is slightly less crap than Essendon*'s.

We won, albeit unconvincingly

They lost by 4 goals to a team with a 1 man bench

They lost by 4 goals to a team that beat us by 9 goals.
The week before they ran Adelaide to the line at AAMI when we lost to them by over 10 goals.

Yeah, we're flying

In the last 4 weeks we only beat Richmond, WB, Lions and lost to the Swans.
They played North, Adelaide, Hawthorn and Geelong.

Wouldn't be putting a fortune on us based on form.

Not saying we're flying...or that I'm over confident about the game.

Fact is they've won one game in 6 weeks. Not really surprised they're $2.10

Having said all that, anyone know what Betts is paying to kick the opening 2,178 goals?

The odds last time were Us @ $1.10 while the scum were at $7.00 for the win.

3 of those losses were by 70ish, 94 and 24 pts to a side with no bench. Our Swans loss was alot better than their efforts in any of those games by a long way and that's really saying something.

Like the Collingwood game we may well lift alot for it as given they pushed us around last time we now have the size to give it to them back in absolute spades.

ˆˆBig difference between the two sides is Essendon* is sliding. Fast.

Our confidence levels are a little higher, and with Judd back we will be on a bit of a high. I hope Judd being back doesn't equate to going back to ball watching and waiting for him to carry us.

I reckon we'll win by 3 goals

Been a few weeks since we had a decent paddock to run around on instead of the alleyway that is Etihad Stadium.

My only concern is we've not shown any resiliance when faced with a team that plays it hard.

I've no doubt the Bombers will be flexing muscles and smashing us at every encounter particularly since their only other option is to chase arse all day.

We've been beaten up more than once this year and that's the only way the Bombers can win.

Good luck boys .

Two sides with motive to win, who stands up to the heat?
