Watson adds a kicking weapon, a smart positional player, much needed height and weight and is a good decision maker. Yes he might not be physically developed in terms of fitness or strength, but I'd take his positives into the game against Collingwood before rushing back an injured player who would be underdone in Bower.

Bower had a complete pre-season, and has missed just 3 weeks of footy with an ankle complaint. He's been training for 2 of them if I'm not mistaken. He's not underdone, it's just a question of whether the swelling is bad after each session.

I agree, big fan of what I have seen of Watson now - leave him there

Interesting to see Thornton, Kreuzer and Hampson up the ground and in the centre square for that kick out.

Think we have finally mastered this it has taken a while but we very rarely turn the ball over from kick in

Yarran seems to take the most of them and he hits up a target nearly everytime

we have to give this one the big thumbs up for Ratts I think

Watson and Tuohy should take most of the "long bomb" kick outs, in particular at Etihad.

Watson took a kickout which landed well into the Centre Square which Waite marked, and resulted in a "coast to coast" goal was excellent.

If Watson cant do anything else he can kick it long and Tuohy isnt far behind.

Would prefer Yarran to be up the ground around half back/wing where he can link up on the back of one of these long bombs.

Good to have some options at least.

With Gibbs and Jammo, that's 5. I can remember the only person we could trust to hit a target from FB was Gibbs.

I'd rather see Ratts stay than get Malthouse but credit where its due, Richardson looks after the kick ins.

Thems the facts. Richardson is in charge of the kickouts. good or bad.
If you're too ignorant to understand it. So be it.

Its not being ignorant at all but why is it when things turn to shit the blow torch is squarely directed at Ratten and when something is good credit goes to someone else

We started getted smashed at the clearances - ratten accept williams is the stopage coach
The forward line structure falls apart - ratten accept barker is the forward coach
Teams waltz through the middle with no defensive pressure -ratten but Riley is midfeild

As far as I concerned if you take all the crap them you also need to take some credit

I'm just telling you who is in charge of the kick-ins.
All the other agendas mean jack shit to me.
