Hate this stain of a club as much as the next Carlton fan. It's always great to beat them and I've enjoyed over the last couple of seasons how we've been able to do that by 10 goals plus on about three occasions. But am willing to concede this week to them - cannot see how we can match them for height/size in their forward-line. It's all well and good to say that if the midfield plays their role then the ball will not get down to the Bombers forwards, however, we know that even with our gun midfielders they can struggle at times.
Would love to win, but am willing to accept they'll walk over us in this one. Hopefully with all our guys on the sidelines rested, we can reload for 2013 and do the double against them by 10 goals plus both times.

If the players go in with this attitude they might as well stay home and watch it on TV.
There is no reason we can't win.
22 vs 22. They have injuries, we have injuries. They have Watson, we have Carazzo. We have Judd, they have Hocking. We have Murphy they have.....
Our backs are a bit small if their forwards get a look.
Our forward structure is looking solid for the first time in about four years.
We have incentive. They have incentive.
I think it will be a cracking game. Close and a bit of physical stuff to go with it. Win or lose, we have to turn up and the kids will have played one of those 20 games of experience that Ratts talks about from time to time. I hope Bell plays when Judd comes back. He is doing well and I want him to play every week for the rest of the year. Finals too if we make it.
The key to giving our backline a chance against them will be pressure up the ground, we can't allow them easy kicks into the forward Line or allow them to be able to hit the forwards on a lead, I think Watson will be able to go with Gumby, White & Mc Innes to Hurley and Crameri and I'm not overly fussed what way those match ups go as they all are similar, Duigan back in for Touhey who struggled on sat, maybe the calf is still troubling him a bit.
