Will play Geelong first week of the finals. Hopefully. West Toast will drop last 2 games against Collingwood & Hawthorn - putty cats to take 5th spot.

Would be nice if Pies dropped to 5th hey ;)

Very possible to make the 8. Win every game and we have a pretty good chance. But we are relying on Fremantle to lose to Richmond in WA and NMFC in melb, as they have a better percentage. Freo play Melb last game. My money would be on Freo taking 8th spot, but you never know, if Richmond pull off a win against Freo, then the top 8 is wide open.

Our percentage is killing us, but if we can win by over 160 pts the next three weeks, our percentage will go up to 113%, then we can finish on 52 points and sneak in and not rely on Freo losing 2 / 3.

NMFC are a lock.

Top eight is not up for grabs. The top 7 is locked in with maybe a change of order in the top 4 and the bottom three but I think the top 4 is also locked up now.

8th is wide open. We have an outside chance of getting there and from then on it's on for young and old.

I was thinking the same thing...................... that is, until i saw us dish up absolute shite-house vomit inducing footy on saturday night against brisbane.

That kind of footy doesn't belong in September.

Basically, we need to win every game and beat Gold Coast by about 130 points.

It's not going to happen.

I don't think we're good enough to beat Essendon* or St Kilda, sadly.

I just find this whole ladder predictor thing such a smokescreen...

everyone who has watched us closely this year knows where we are at and halucinations of September grandeur are insulting.

only one good thing can possibly come out of this wretched season....and it aint a finals win !!!!

Assuming the 3 wins (I agree very tough), we need to catch up the 3% points on Freo.

There are a few others things as well, but going on most likely wins, the 3% points will be the hardest.

100 point win over the Dons would be nice!

I believe we'll drop one of Essendon* or the Aints - just have too many injuries to key position players.

I reckon it will come down to percentage between Fremantle and us.

One small advantage we have is that we play after Freo in r23.. We may know how much we need to win by and can plan accordingly

I haven't given up.. We don't need a lot to go our way.. As long as we win our 3, we should be ok.. (Freo need to lose to either Tigers this week, or North at Etihad.. preferrably both )
