The way our season has gone it would be played at Etihad.

I don't think we can get our percentage high enough now. The only way we can make it is as follows.

Essendon* defeat North
Geelong defeat StKilda
Carlton defeat Essendon*
Collingwood defeat North
Richmond defeat Essendon*
Carlton defeat Gold Coast
Fremantle defeat North
Collingwood defeat Essendon*
Carlton defeat StKilda

No chance ... It's over.

Richmond need to beat Fremantle and Fremantle need to beat North in my scenarios. Those are the crunch moments.

Can't see Richmond beating Essendon*.

why would we want Essendon* to beat north?

better off Essendon* losing all their games and missing out

north are a lock for the finals anyway

they wont lose to freo at etihad

Isn't it just down to:
North beat ess & freo
Blues win last 3
And we're in?

North play Collingwood, Essendon*, Fremantle & GWS. They're not a lock.

they have 11 wins already they will definitely win against freo and gws IMO

which makes 13 wins and in, they have a superior %

I still think they're a better chance to drop games than Essendon* losing every game.

yeah ok

richmond v essen could screw us

ess should lose all thier other games

that gives them 12

i think north are a bigger thorn in our side than Essendon* for our finals chances

im hoping north win today

I've got:

Us winning our last 3.
Bombers beating Richmond, losing the other 3
North winning GWS/Freo/Ess, getting smacked by Collingwood
Saints beating GWS and Geelong, losing to us
Cats losing to Saints, beating Dogs, 50/50 on Swans game
Freo beating Richmond and Melbourne, losing to Roos.
Eagles beating Port, losing to Pies, sending a half strength side to face Hawks and getting pumped.

Which would see:

Pies/Hawks
Swans/Crows
Roos/Blues
Cats/Eagles

That's a big ask for St Kilda, but it's more favourable for all the other scenarios.

Not convinced on Geelong's form at Etihad this year. G would be a different story. Either way will be under 15 points margin I suspect.

Geelong/Sydney I think will come down to who has what to play for. Geelong beat the Saints, and they'll rest players the week after given the finals are set. Sydney with a home final up for grabs will probably be in play no matter what, and managed to knock them off there last year. Feel that the ground renovations have ruined Geelong's home ground advantage.

Looked more at that scenario. It also requires a huge percentage drop from West Coast, and a decent gain from North. The more I look at it, the more I can see it's going to be difficult for us to wind up facing anyone other than Geelong or West Coast if we make it.

West Coast at Subi.

Please make it so. We'll win that one.
