So Harold Mitchell wants the job? He's prepared to put in the time to do it?

You know this?

Keogh, have all the opinions on Sticks and Ratts that you want, but please post them in the Sticks or Ratten threads and stop hijacking the after game thread, the people reading this thread want to discuss the GAME, you know the one you didn't watch, we are fed up with every thread being turned into a Sticks or Ratten thread, so why don't you show some respect and courtesy to other users and stay on topic or post your thoughts where they are relevant.

Keogh love your work and opinions. Stick with it. Just don't worry about arguing or biting at cheap shots. Achieves nothing.

I'm learning!

Pick your bottom lip up sunshine, you first brought the subject up, so acting like a petulant child and saying "but mum he did it too" does you no justice, just give the rest of us a break eh.

As far as the game is concerned, the kids in the side keep showing something and need to be persevered with, especially Casboult who is starting to look like he believes he belongs in the seniors, but he has to work on his kicking for goal, but I wonder if that is due to nerves.

Just a win and we only played a quarter and a half of footy and looked a lot better when they slowed it down a little bit rather than complete Kamakazi attack, if they give Essendon* the start they gave Brissy it could get ugly.

So on the game why have O'Keefe as the sub
He has been at the club 4 years as a midsize player

Should play the last 3 games in the "21" to see what he has got.

Mate, I agree ROK should be given the last three, as far as I am concerned the season is gone so we lose nothing, he layed a couple of good tackles and his knock on to Kruzer was excellent thinking, so why not play him.

Reckon Levi,Tommy, and Andy Mac. have breathed new life into this side and must be persevered with.
And i'll take the 4 points and soldier on to next week where we are a big show.I would have Tommy right beside Jobe.Perfect matchup size wise. Also the tank to go with him.In fact i would have Tommy testing Jobe the other way by running forward every time we got the pill. Our midfielders get criticized for running one way,but i reckon Jobe is suspect in that area...............and the other bloke i would put time into is Dyson, yes Dyson coz for some reason he saves his best for us.He is the only Bomber that runs hard through the guts.Watch him like a hawk boys............apart from those two i would be prepared to open up the game coz they are like treacle on the outside and that is where we can gain the advantage.

I don't think he looked injured last night. He was really good in the ruck. Good taps to mids, and covered the ground really well.
So pleasing.

Against a 33 year old ruckman in Hudson. Looked good against Jolly too. Below average leap still Bondi, but I hold out hope yet.

Not listed as reported anywhere else, guess the mrp will decide.

Betts had calf strapping all game which I had not noticed on him before.

Brisbane are awful.

couldn't agree more - after all the bullants reports over the years i was looking forward to seeing him and he didn't disappoint.
and ditto casboult who i have liked since seeing him in games in the bullies last year.
and have always been a fan of white. add bell and mcinnes and 2013 is looking terrific

An OK win against an ordinary side. Not much of a game but the season is still alive.

Really like the look of McInnes. Just looks like he has "it"; the sort of bloke that will forge a long career at the club. Casboult played well but has to improve his kicking. It's nice though to see a big-bodied Carlton player capable of taking a contested mark. Also impressed with Bell and his simple, no-nonsense approach to the game.

Wasn't great game but as suggested Thursday with the worse backline we have had for the past 4 years you would take a 6 goal win every time
No Jamison Henderson laidler Dugan Thornton bower russell davies in the backline at the start of the season how many games would you expect to win
I know that Thornton bower Russell and Duigan have been disappointing and most will not be playing for the side next year but their absence together with our 3 best defenders jamo laids and Henderson is a big hole in the backline

No mentions of Walker? Thought it was a very good return from injury from him.

Before last night I thought I liked the idea of him spending more time in the midfield, but we should be doing everything we can to ensure he spends as much time as possible forward.

Agree. His midfield kicking is shoddy.

Walkers kicking is an interesting one. The line of his kicking is very accurate and this translates to him being a very good set shot at goal. The depth of his kicking in the midfield is the problem and he regularly lands them at the feet of the leading player or over their heads.

I like him better up forward too, very difficult player for the opposition to match up on, can take a grab(understatement) and a good set shot for goal(which we aren't overly equipped with).
