Yep. Port game was ridiculous. Their form since that game hasn't done anything to heal the wounds.

Last 4 years we've done this. Relying on other teams to help us.

09, '10 it was to try and avoid an interstate final, '11 was for Top 4, and now '12 to make the 8 where as every year we've only had ourselves to blame.

Can understand why people are working the permutations. It's a long off-season as it is let alone starting it in July/August, however as other have said 12th, better draft pick, more games into kids, stars getting the OP's they require, a Nth/Crows type draw for 2013, and a more realistic stance of where we are really at is fine by me.

Scraping into the finals might make those in charge hesitant to make the tough decisions that are required on and off the field, with 'but we had injuries' covering up some - what should be obvious - cracks.

You obviously don't have the Bombers winning another game?

After yesterday they should beat us.

Freo are a big chance to get done this week without Pav and McPharlin.

Do you think Melb would help us out by beating them last game of the year.?

They're playing Adelaide in Adelaide, were they ever a chance?

I've switched now.

I reckon our best bet is Geelong falling out as well.

Lose in Perth tonight, big chance without Kelly and coming off a mini final . Lose to St Kilda, very possible after a trip west and lose to Norf , who towelled them up easily this year .

Job done, we just need to win big against Bris and GC and win normal against Saints and Bombers.

Hang on, don't we also need St Kilda & North to keep losing?

Loving a club song, and loving a team, are 2 entirely different things.

Although, I am still fond of the baby tiges.

With Freo beating WC last week it will take a miracle to make finals even if we smash everyone in our path in the next three weeks - Carlton's run home is Brisbane, Essendon*, GC and St Kilda. The only way to make it is if let's say for giggles we win all 4, puts us on a score of 52. Prediction for the Blues 9th - YES WE HAVE BECOME RICHMOND!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

6. Geelong 48 - St K, WB, Syd Predicted 56

7. North 44 - Ess, Coll, Freo, Giants Predicted 56

8. Fremantle 44 - Rich, Kang, Melb Predicted 52

-------------9. CARLTON---------------------

10. Essendon* 44 - North, Carl, Rich, Coll Predicted 48

11. St Kilda 40 - Cats, Giants, Carl Predicted 44

If we win all 4 reckon it will come down to %....meaning we'll have to do a real job on the Brions and the Suns.

Can finish as high as 7th, with possible opponents being West Coast, Hawthorn, Essendon* and Geelong. Most likely Geelong and West Coast, and I really hope we're not crossing our fingers for one over the other.

The coaches should be pouring over additional game tape when there's spare time to.

I don't think we can get our percentage high enough now. The only way we can make it is as follows.

Essendon* defeat North
Geelong defeat StKilda
Carlton defeat Essendon*
Collingwood defeat North
Richmond defeat Essendon*
Carlton defeat Gold Coast
Fremantle defeat North
Collingwood defeat Essendon*
Carlton defeat StKilda

No chance ... It's over.
