As much as I dread it I think Bower needs to come in. Can't expect McInnes or White to man Brown or Merrett. Bower is better suited but will need a third man up at every opportunity.

Out: jamo. Davies. Curnow. Collins.
In: Watson. Bower. Robbo. Walks.

Mcinnes. Watson. Joseph.
Yarran. Bower. Scotland.
Simmo. McLean. Gibbs.
Army. Waite. Garlett.
Walks. Casboult. Betts.
Kreuz. Carazzo. Murphy.

Robbo. Bell. White. Sub-tuohy.

Like to see OKeeffe get run and replace either white or tuohy also.

If warnocks fit and kreuz needs rest then swap but play one, leave casboult in.

Carazzo to tag rockliff.
Army to work his magic on Hanley.
Joseph to cover zorko
Yarran to banfield
McLean in & under head to head with black.
Scotland to play across HB, his pace is showing at present & a level headed veteran would help down back.

and that's what's wrong with our coach and club-tag him, stop him etc. Trust our players to play their own game instead of locking people down. Bryce Gibbs is a classic example. Our seaason is shot, pull him aside and tell him he's playing in the midfield for the rest of the year-regardless.

You sound like Ratts - tagging four players. We're playing Brisbane.

Joseph is the only real tag. It's his only strength.
Carazzo plays the attacking tag role and should do so every week, if he can negate the opposition star and gather 30 touches himself it's wat he should do every week.
Yarran to banfield isn't a tag it's a match up as banfield is lightning fast.
And Armfield negating fwd role has lifted his game to a new level in the past 2-3wks. He's stopping our oppositions best rebounder and kicking goals. Why not let him do this regularly?

I only used the tag word once not four times.

Man oh man ... Tag no one. No matter who we play we should only ever tag their best mid with carrots and their small forward with AJ.

Gibbs, Murphy Maclean & Kreuzer in the middle.

Back ourselves. Lets run it right at 'em and put 120+ on the board.

Well thats basically wat I said. Joseph to zorko, carrots to rockliff.

Yaz to banfield & army to hanley are merely match ups.

I'd like to see Watson on Brown.
Some experience on a big body on body player would be invaluable for the kid.
If we play positional football with real KP forwards and crumbers we should romp it home.

I did say if and should.

Don't tag, play! There is no one in that side that we should be scared of.

RoK is in according to the teams on BF, Bell out rested.

Great to see RoK earn his chance, great comeback.

Agree with this. This whole no tag thing is ridiculous. It's not a strategy it's a thought bubble that ignores the strengths of some of our players. Gibbs shouldn't be tagging but Carrazzo and Armfield impact the game offensively while shutting down opponents which is extremely valuable and Joseph's only strength is his defensive work. Using them that way is not negative it's common sense.

Bower did not even play for the bullants last week so he must be injured.

@AFL_PKeane: Carlton has upgraded Rhys O'Keeffe from the rookie list as replacement for Lachlan Henderson, who was already on the long-term injury list.

Poster on BF is reporting this as the side:

B: A.McInnes M.Watson C.Yarran
HB: R.O'Keeffe S.White Z.Tuohy
C: H.Scotland B.Gibbs K.Simpson
HF: A.Walker J.Waite M.Robinson
F: E.Betts L.Casboult J.Garlett
Foll: M.Kreuzer M.Murphy A.Carrazzo
Int: D.Armfield, T.Bell, E.Curnow & B.McLean

In - A.Walker, R.O'Keeffe, M.Robinson & M.Watson
Out - A.Collins (Omitted), M.Jamison (Hamstring), A.Joseph & M.Davies (Omitted)

If correct that is one seriously inexperienced backline.

Given how little the MC seem to rate Thornton, that's about as good a set of changes as you could ask for at the moment.

Their treatment of Ellard and Collins isn't that flash either.
