Thats ok if you expected a premiership over the last 3 years too.

So assuming we go with an experienced coach in Malthouse what are people's expectations? Does he get a year to rebuild or do we expect immediate results? Personally I'd be expecting similar results in 2013 to what we had in 2011 as long as we have reasonable health. With another year's development in the younger blokes and presumably an easier draw due to our poor results this year I think that's a reasonable expectation.

My attacks on Sticks and Ratts are due to their history as an administrator and as a coach.
Theyre shithouse!!!
One is a reluctant president.. yeah reluctant to FO!!!
and the other will never get a job at another club as a coach.

Look.. if they ran Collingwood or Port Melbourne.. or Subiaco Football clubs.. i wouldnt give a Ratts....

But unfortunately they impact on my life by running th e club i support into the ground.

As they affect my life and enjoyment.. and my escape... i feel better by wanting them to go.. and expressing that.

Youre not even sure about them,,,,,,

Noone can cataguorically say theyre fantastic.. and yet theyre here .. year after year... after year... after year..... and its always next year next year next year next year!!!
Enough with the mediocre and lets bring this club back into line as a power club.

I only watch Carlton to see how kids like McInnes are going.

We are !@#$%& because we have a dysfunctional footy club from the top.

So we are rooted until the broom comes out.

Its like where I work
The people at the top are incompetent, in denial and punching above their weight division
A bunch of empty suits
And just about everyone below them are angry, disheartened etc
But the people at the top dont give a shit about this and continue to rule a sinking ship.
Its pretty simple

Ratts aint good enough.
Wouldnt get an AFL senior job anywhere else.

So you sack him
Put the job out there for anyone interested
That includes MM
Then you have an independent group of people who know what it takes to be a successful AFL senior coach to pick our next coach with a thorough process.

We are desperate for a quality young key forward. The ones we have cant get on the park with any consistency. I'd target a key forward and midfielder with our first 2 picks and then a rookie ruckman.

So Ratts said they need to be realistic in their review of our year. Wow. They are already making excuses for the year and a reason for him to stay on next year.

We all know the injuries hurt us this year, but what we cant cop is some players still dont know what their roles are, some players have gone backwards and our structures are still crap.

If Ratten stays next year, we are stuffed.

I read this as Ratten's argument to keep his job. He's putting it out there to reduce public pressure on him. I am sure that Sticks and co. have privately assured him that they will consider injuries in evaluating his role. Then they will hire Mick.
