I like the kid McInnes - he is a pure backman though and one I would like us to persist with @ CHB!

Not sure about CHB, he will struggle against the big forwards. An Andrew Mackie role or Tom HarTley is where I see his future.

Exactly. I've always seen him as a Mackie type. I thought today he started to show more of the creative side he showed at junior level.

thought tuohy really struggled today. might still be carrying some sort of injury

jamo obviously goes out and i think curnow needs another spell in the 2nds.

walker, robbo & watson in & id like to see ROK get another run

Touhy has dropped off since his great start to the year and i think injury and a long season has caught up with him.

Might be time to put him out to pasture for the rest of the year and look at bringing Okeefe or Russell into the side.

You want to drop McLean because you don't think he'll be there next year....and you want to pick Russell?

Brad.

Mclean will not be at Carlton next year.

Russell is still in the mix for a spot on the list in 2013. He will be played before the season is out before a decision is made on him.

Need to win this by at least 10 goals to stay in touch with the 8, anything less & I don't think our finals campaign is gonna happen.

Marcus Davies, Aaron Joseph, Zac Tuohy need to be dropped IMO.

Bring in some quality in the likes of Walker & Robinson

Waite's first up game was fantastic, let's hope he can bring that & some for the remainder of the season

Hopefully being out of the finals race doesn't drain the boys mentally....reckon this won't be an easy game....Brown due for a day out I reckon....

Today we tried the torpedo :donk:

Maybe against Brisbane we can bring in George Ferry to kick out with a beautifull drop kick

He looked proppy after his free kick near the end. Few winces during play as well.

Out: Jamison Joseph Curnow Davies Scotland

Need the extra key target up forward w Thornton.

Scotland is struggling and getting easy kicks in defence.

Ellard better than Curnow.

I'd drop Scotland for a rest, not your bizarre musings. I'd also not look at Ellard as we need to bring in more people who can make the defensive transition, not less. Same goes for O'Keeffe, but at least you can play him at either end and release someone else.

On second thoughts, Curnow for Ellard would be a welcome change even if it costs us pace and gut running; Curnow has been extremely poor delivering the ball. It's a shame Lucas and Buckley aren't up and running form wise as they could contribute through HF as a link option and avenue to goal.

Bower should be in consideration also, was he held out of the VFL on the weekend?

Been struggling for a while and doesn't hurt the opposition as he once did. IMO time for another kid to have a go.

Wow, short memories here. Did you watch his last quarter against the tigers last week? Might be worth re-visiting. A major reason why we won.

And yes, he was very poor yesterday.

Reckon he's just knackered from having to carry the side in Judds absence....

Mitchell's been good in the VFL for the past month or so.
I'd bring him intp thte team instead of Casboult and keep him in for the rest of the year (similar to what Port did with John Butcher late last year).

How Marcus Davies continues to be given game time is a myth.

Aaron Joseph cannot be part of a successful future team.

Brisbane should be beatable... but come on it's Brisbane... such a sad state of affairs.
