We play these teams in the run home... Freo could join the "28" club tomorrow.

Destiny is well and truly in our own hands if we're good enough...

I don't always agree with you but I am on this train.

Time to start the end of season review and play the future. The preseason for any injured players should start tomorrow. Or today. We gain nothing by finishing 9th. Better to finish 14th with next year in mind and then do a Collingwood/WCE and storm up the ladder next year with a fit and hopefully much bigger bodied list.

We will lose to the dogs I think.

We should beat gold coast,
and we are a good chance against Brissy at home....

But the rest would be a fluke.
The Tigers will go mental when they beat us

It was very clear on Friday night, he players' confidence (in them selves and each other) is at a very low ebb, Garlett a case in point). Amazed we did so well last week. Given the run with injuries and possible suspension to key players and the second and third tier players struggling, we will be lucky to win a couple. Sad end to the season coming up. My other prognostication is Ratten will not be sacked. The boys' club is alive and well.

If Judd is rubbed out for 3-4 games, we'll be lucky to win a game all year.

If we keep losing, what's the highest draft pick we could get?

Todays match against the Swans is prob our season defining game.

So tell me, if that happens and our a season is shot,

What if the MC decide to book in early and get those in need of minor surgeries done now, to be ready
for preseason.
Bleed some of those younger players with games till the seasons end.

Would this be considered as tanking ?

By whom?

The official AFL line is that tanking has never happened in the AFL. We could literally swap our Northern Blues team with our AFL side, put Jeannie Pratt in as coach, blindfold her assistants, and start Garlett in the ruck and the AFL would still deny that clubs throw games.

tbf, I'd start Kade in the ruck.

He played under 10 there.

Season is still alive.
Must win next 4 - no if's but's or maybe's.
Essendon* need to beat Kangaroos however.
Collingwood need to beat Kangaroos.
Fremantle need to beat Kangaroos.
Richmond need to beat Essendon*.

If all of the above happens we get in by a game.
If Essendon* beat Richmond it comes down to % - same goes for Kangaroos / Fremantle game.
Season not over but we need things to fall our way now.
