White is not quick enough for his size, and he is not fully fit. He is a terrible selection in place of Thornton.

Could have put Thornton in defence and brought in a small to play up forward, with Betts and Garlett to be continually rotating through the same spot up forward and in the middle.

White Davies McLean curnow Joseph just list cloggers. They cant hurt the opposition with disposal and don't carry the footy. There stats look good because we play contested footy round the boundary that create ball ups. We don't win many with them in the side

spot on. people are kidding themselves if they believe they add a lot to the side. Are plodders. Endeavour only gets you so far. Actually, it's the difference between winning a premiership or not. End up wasting time and your premiership window closes. It's like the Russell scenario.
