They celebrated every goal in that last quarter like it had sealed a premiership.

A lot of heart in that win for our boys, some guys really stepping up in the absence of the great one.

We got utterly maggotted in the last quarter. Two deliberate out of the full, one was a clearance kick from the pack, yet they put it out on purpose at least half a dozen times in that quarter for zero frees. And ironically it was a clear free kick to Casboult as he flew for that kick from McLean, even though the maggot clearly had no intention of paying it, fate has her own way of getting her way!

Great win in a game we had no right at all to win. Just a shame that so few of our fans were there to see it. We sure seem to have some fickle supporters. Our supporters turnouts at games have been rubbish for a while now. Where has everyone gone?

The team has shown some real spirit and character over the last two weeks. Season is still well and truly alive.

He had just realised moments earlier that ninth was probably out of reach for Richmond this year.

I was out and only saw the last 10 mins. It appeared to me that Gibbs was really good in that time. How'd he go for the game?

One massive error. Otherwise okay. Wish he would play a bit harder though

Apparently Tom Bell is 187cm and 95 kilos.

****

I think the Tigers try so hard to get some emotion and spirit in their Club because they don't have any. They are the wretched souls of a past great Club, like ghosts on the hallowed turf of the MCG.

(Mind you we're not too far off but I think at least we know we're no good).

1 goal either way and the Sakc Ratten threads would have again overtaken this site. Good that we got that goal so we can actually talk of highlights such as Bell's game, Scotland's continued leadership, Murphy's bruise-free return (with one arm so allowable) and Betts' great year.

I was reading the print version of the Sunday Age & started to wonder if I had early onset of Dementia :screwy:

Emma Quayle's last paragraph

Quote:
There were about 30 seconds to go when McLean gently passed the ball towards Jamison, who was, fortunately as it turned out, forced to the left by Jayden Post. The ball flew past both

Do these journo's really get paid & get a free pass to watch football :?:

FFS get it right :banghead:

At one stage late in the last qtr. our center bounce lineup was, Levi, Carrots, Curnow, and Garlett.

We've done well from the rookie list......

One of the best things to happen to us was Judd getting suspended.

No one is ball watching anymore, everyone is rolling up their sleeves and not waiting for Judd to do it all.

If we maintain that level when Judd returns, if we can sneak into the 8 ... We can still punch out a round or two and do something.

A few ifs, I know ... but I'm excited.
