The only way we could have kept Jacobs is to trade Hampson and warnock which would have shown him that he was going to get game time. Otherwise how could we have guaranteed him game time??

and we could have Beames
Broabent
Shiels
Hannebery
or Reddon at the club as well if we hadnt havegone after Warnock and kept Sammy

We cant even get Gibbsy/Lucas/Bower etc playing good footy... who cares who we could have got

Even if we did, there was no guarantee he would stay. He received a good offer from Adelaide and he said he wanted to go home at some stage.
Disappointing but its done now.
