Kreuzer's the main one that's a bit strange. Duigan deserved to be dropped. Good to see them pumping games into Lucas.

Like give away a stupid free/goal in a Final?

Davies making his traditional late season run - although probably this time no finals.

Oddly enough has only played 13 games and 3 of them have been finals - so they must see something in him.

Watson has been average and does not go hard enough, Bower - say no more, Russell - lost it, Duigan out of touch.

The team looks ok and should go well on a cold wet Sat night. Blues by 28pts.

Changes are not that bad. A few of you are trigger happy. As pointed out by Verbs last week. The team selection thread is a bit of a joke with posters getting it so wrong week after week.

Some complain that Ratts and co are not daring enough and take no risks then complain when moves come from left field. Noone attempting to work out what the MC are thinking.

Watson:- how has he been training? How is he feeling?
Warnock:- Still crook in the shoulder? Flu? Coaches looking into the one ruckman game and want to play Krooz on Maric all game.
Russ and Duigan :- Russ struggles to come up week after week. Limps before games. Duigan is out of form.

Good to get a look at Davies and Lucas before making the call come seasons end.

Hope we win but can't see that 22 troubling the tigers.

I like it.

Similar to the Collingwood game we are being proactive.

looking at Richmond, our side suits the matchups.

We are looking to go with Casboult as the lone big forward.

McInness was good forward last week.

Like Collingwood, defensive have forwards are important

Maxwell, Shaw V Houli, Newman

No match for Watson and plenty of pace in the backline

Richmond played McGuane forward but he doesn't play "tall"

Our setup may force Richmond to worry about us

They'll have King, Edwards and Nahas forward all day with Martin in spurts

This should make them very "Jack centric" which suits us and Thornton as 3rd man up.

Warnock got suspended from the reserves because he was playing crap.

Kreuzer fit, he plays, simple.

Biggest surprise for me is no White. Good back up for Jack and has played well v Richmond

Very quick side.

But if we delist them we are going to have a fair hole in our ranks of half backs aren't we.

The more I look at the team sheet, the more it makes sense.

Watson, no real match up... should be back next week

Great to see Levi at FF... more games into Collins, McInnes, Dale, Bell, Davies

Love Gibbs & Lucas on the wings... hope they actually play there

Kruezer? shows how much they value Warnock atm... hope it doesn't backfire

Why would they bother challenging Warnock's suspension if they don't even plan to use him, its bizarre.

Nth Blues will be happy we signed their first ruck for another three years. Only one of Big K and Warnock can be 1st ruck, and it is K, Warnock has been and continues to be a very expensive back up. Happy to see the newbies retained. Odd that Watson has been ditched, but Ratts loves Davies. Pity Ratts never warmed to Setanta, because there's a few guys on the list who have proved less worthy of retention than him. Will Kerr ever get a game? And how can Bower and especially JR have gone so far backward? They are probably barely trade able, and yet wd it surprise if they turn up somewhere else next year and come good.

Duigan is a great leader but has looked a bit sanfl this year. Ordinary side but great to see some of the new guys run around again.

We would have used him, but Kreuzer is (apparently) fit now.

For the dogs game.
Kreuzer may be a week by week propersition.

I think some smart changes have been made here.

Richmond dont have a particularly tall forward line and we will probably be better defensively if we have one or two tall defenders and the rest are medium/small faster blokes. Watson and Duigan are two obvious choices if you want the defence to be a bit leaner, quicker and reduce the average turning circle of the back line from 10m to 2m!

Bit concerned about the fitness of Kreuz so hope he plays the game out well. Great to see Casboult locked in at full forward - this is the setup we have wanted to see all year finally! A big key position forward who can pinch hit in the ruck, and Kreuz to go about his business as the #1 ruckman.

Looking forward to this match. Shame Robbo didn't get up, but hopefully Bell as a replacement bring something very similar to the club anyway.

Watson is unlucky, but the team would have looked slow if we'd played Casboult, T-Bird, Kreuzer and Watson. He still has the L plates on, young players get dropped sometimes. It's all part of the journey for him.

Good to see Lucas & Tuohy back.

Like all of us, I hope the MC are doing the right thing by playing Kreuzer. Part of me would like to see him wrapped up in cotton wool for the rest of 2012. Then again, he hasn't had a great couple of years and maybe he just needs to get out there and play. And Warnock has missed a lot of footy and maybe needs another VFL game or two.

One thing I have learnt this year is that form in the magoos is virtually irrelevant at the moment.
Perhaps the MC is thinking the same way. Hopefully we can restructure our presence in the VFL so
that this isn't always the case.

Very happy to see us go with one main ruck and a back up. Can only assume Krueze is in better
shape than 206.

Please MC ... if you're going to give blokes like Lucas and Davies a game, tell them that they're good for at
least two or three games regardless and that they should play as if they're a permanent part of the line up.

And maybe they just wanted to be able to play him at either AFL or VFL level last week because he's missed so much footy this year....

It seems fairly obvious r.e. Watson - no matchup.
He has been great though and I think it will show we will miss his kicking.

Completely dumbfounds me.

Kreuzer has had to have his knee drained regularly.
Spends plenty of time with ice-packs on his knee after a game and training.

I don't know of the full extent of Kreuzer's hip injury but you can bet that when he has a poor game, it's largely due to him not being right.

Thats exactly what i hear....

and to me its just murdering the kid.
