You know I might just be a yokel from the West, but every year for 20 years the WCE have booked up to 10 guy's in for surgery as soon as they've given the season away.

The operations included everything you can imagine, shoulder reco's, knee scrapes, back surgery, adductor release, achilles, pins for broken bones, elbow etc etc.

In some circumstances, as it's been explained to me, if these conditions existed in normal people they would be hard pressed to walk let alone play elite sport.

The longer the flame burns the later in the season the surgery is performed.

Does it mean that guy's play injured, sometimes to their long term detriment? Absolutely.

Should it happen? Absolutely not.

But it does not necessarily make Ratt's and the MC any worse than anyone else.?

I'm not sure you can make that leap.

Matty Cooney knees Kreuzer.

That's your considered medical diagnosis, or something your heard from a guy who tried to sell you a watch.

Casboult should be red - Knee

Rowe red

I think those two are important - it forced the stupid (IMHO) 3 ruckman policy.

Not really .. he could have pushed Tbird and Bower into defence and played Hendo forward...

He was just too smart by 3 that time...

In fact he should have been resting Kreuzer

Forgot Sam Rowe, but thats more because he hasnt played a senior game. Casbault should be red, but I dont have enough data on his injuries and for how long, hence the N for reserves or injured in the reserves. I know Bell and Mitchell have carried injuries as well for a large part of the season, but again, not sure when and for how long.

Well U can clearly see why guys like Laidler and Kreuz put their hands up to play
Laidler sat in the background at the cats for 3 or so years not getting a gig he wants to make every post a winner and there are a stack of bank flankers on the list waiting to take his place

Kreuz has had almost a year and half out of the game footy careers are short not everyone wants to sit in the stands and there is Warnick and Hammer to compete with
Same goes for Hendo it takes him a while to wind up after surgery he is currently becoming a major assett he would want to play mitchell emerging at one end Watson showing something at the other 6 months on the sidelines then theres often complications then you have to regain form and in the meantime some young bloke has taken your spot

I can fully understand the players wanting to play

I've got no idea how bad his knees are, but every time you throw up some half baked conspiracy expect to be asked to verify it.

Your suggesting his knees are as bad as Adam Cooney, who's basically now cooked as a footballer ergo Kreuzer is cooked.

Is it that bad, or are you looking for a worst case scenario to fit how you see the world?.

You nominated a heap of players as further "proof" of the clubs shortcomings, I think your guessing and misleading because you can and only Cazz will pull you up on it.

Ok.

supposed you make a deduction from whatching him play

a) his knees are fine and hes moving freely
b) his knees arent fine and he isnt moving freely

We were going to rest him months ago and played him.
His knee blew up big time a week or so ago....

What do you deduce from this cimmy ol chap???

Hes right to go... there is a point to continue on playing him???
Hes starring!!!

Or is he ok but he is going backwards like Gibbs and everybody else...???

Oh and youre making things up... or imagining things.

His knees will become like Cooneys unless we manage him....

Its called management....

Is there a point to flogging him ???

No, so rest him if it's required and as far as I'm aware he is being rested.

But there could be one hundred miles between the state of Kreuzers knees and the state of Cooney's knees.

You are just guessing.

Nooooo, I would have thought he's obviously struggling.

But does that mean he's the next Cooney?

Stretch, fib, exaggeration, call it what you like, it's not the fact you want to make it.

Your inference is he's Cooney.

You don't know that but you want to pre-determine the outcome because it suits you argument re everything else. i.e it's all Ratt's and Stick's fault.

No. It's a fact. Unfortunately the source can't be revealed and that makes it hard.

cimm

105 kilos with a knee we havent got right in 2 and a half years and we send him out to play....

Thats Cooney territory right there!!!

Ligaments and cartilage... get ground down and they are no longer what they used to be...

yes ???

no???

maybe???

Whats the guess bit in that???

knee injury in itself means the ligament and the cartilage are not what they used to be already.

Ever seen Dean Rice walk lately cimm???

Ever spoken to him about knees???

Ahhhhhh.

Well check mate then.

Deep throat 1 Cimm 0

So, just out of interest. At what point is the condition currently? Is it as bad as Cooney's this year, last year, 3 years ago, his Brownlow year?

Those questions can be answered without giving up the source? Yes?
