Greg Swan was just on SEN with KB, summary of what was said;
Pleased with kids, positive of having so many injuries.
1st game next year against Richmond will only be played at MCG, talking with cricket and vic government to see if something can be done, otherwise we may have to play round 2/3.
Cloke, every club thinks he will stay at Collingwood.
Collins form good, now injury free. Club didnt want to lose Grigg.
McLean having a good run after alot of injuries.
Internally the club going okay after media scrutiny.
Lucas, Kreuzer, Warnock and Touhy could be back this week.
Will be a review but there is every year.
Ticket sales for this week on par with round 1 so expecting a big crowd.

I sent in a txt asking about the rumour of him leaving but KB didnt ask him.

Thanks for the update.

I was looking for a Greg swan thread.

I assume this is it.

I heard a snippet of swan on Sen today.

A lot of ifs , maybe, not too sure, let's wait and see....

Have you heard Neil Balme? Absolutely the same... They don't want to give anything. That's all.

Neil balme is football operations manager
Greg swan is the CEO equivalent to Brian Cooke

I don't think anyone can argue with him there.

Yes I know.

I mention Balme as both he and Swann are regulars on Sen. Executives in the midst of an operation (like trade month) shouldn't and wouldn't want to show their hand publicly.

I get more annoyed by the people that ask questions that they know can't and won't be able to be answered candidly than the person being asked the question.

It's how people ask the question that is the issue.

Footy journos love posing 'or leading questions... Gets you nothing

If ya don't ask, ya don't get.

Sometimes, though very rarely, you might get a response you weren't expecting.

OK. Then why do an interview?

why not plan and execute a trade and conduct an interview AFTER settlement like Sydney with
Franklin and not expose our intentions through the media?

It wasn't an interview, he has a spot on Kb's show every week.

I also heard Swan saying that they "will let Scotland" decide to play another another year.

A strong Premiership club would make the decision themselves and advise Scotland to retire this year.

Look at Geelong: Pods, Chapman and Cory - a strong Club that let 3 Premiership players go....

Our Club is drifting into the sunset...

Its been 18 years now....
