We didnt win that game because of Casboults 5 tap outs and 2 marks for the game...

LB's complaint is on something else – why weren't Casboult and Bell selected earlier in the year.

Synners IMO Casboult and Bell brought something last night that you can't measure with statistics.

Ummm, cos Levi was injured in Round 1 until Round 15....Bell injured nearly as much...

I liked Tom Bell - fantastic first up game.
He better play this week

This says it all, from blueseum...

It reads like 'oh alright, you twisted our arm, we will play him...'

A string of solid games for the Northern Blues in the first half of 2012 kept Bell in the sights of Carlton’s match committee, but it wasn’t until round 17 – when the injury-depleted and patched-up Blues met the Western Bulldogs on a Saturday night at Docklands – that Bell’s dreams were realised and he was selected for his first senior match.

That is not true. He came back from a long stint on the sidelines. Played a few games where he struggled with both fitness and form. He finally stung some good games and then an excellent game for NOrthern so when the opportunity arose the MC gave him a shot. He looks a good player.

tbf, Bell's disposal and kicking technique seem way below average.

But as long as he's concentrating on extracting the ball, levelling opposition around the contest and trucking his way through packs all he needs is quick hands ala Sam Mitchell, and he'll be a beauty.

Good thing is, kicking is about the easiest part of a player's game to improve on.

As John Madden said, you can't teach size!
