I think persisting with Gibbs at half back is a mistake. He isn't having any influence and he can play mid or forward. I don't buy into the sakc Ratts argument at all but I do think he is a slow reactor to the game as it unfolds and that when we need him (all of the coaching panel) to do something, they wait too long. These kids on the park want to win the game. They are being outplayed by more experienced players, whose skills aren't that flash either. Tayys has to get out most experienced players at the fall of the footy. Gibbs, Murphy, Scotland, Betts have to be put on the ball. the running players have to run to space. We are not tall enough to play this long kick to the F50. We have Watson and Thornton up forward and still we kick it to Eddie. Or Lake. It isn't rocket science. Or is it?

Both your comments so right.

Really liked the way Bell hunted the ball for hig goal.
Really good signs. Really good.
Once he gets his radar (pace of the game) he's glooks to have the goods to expose opponents on pace at the ball.
Haven't seen anything that says 'inside' yet, (and that's what we want) but so far so good.

We look like a bottom 4 team...maybe bottom 5.
We wont beat anyone if we continue to play like this.

Jammo forward, Watson back. Give us some target at least. Then bloody well stay forward rather going up the ground leaving Betts and Garlett as our marking targets.

Garlett's at least playing alright.

Anything! Don't do nothing. Do something!

Lazy lazy! Watson adding nothing forward at all. Very slow and no pressure.. Gibbs, Duigan, jammo, bower, curnow. and the list goes on hopeless. Why are we lime this? So distressing..... Players just staring at each other waiting to get the ball.

Collins, Betts and Garlett are having a go up forward.

Bower, Russell & Thornton should all be de-listed at the end of the season.

Don't blame Watson, blame those who put him there.

Doesn't matter. There is not heart and no effort.

This is a club in disarray. Nothing else.

For the love of god. Put Gibbs in the middle and Watson down back.

The Giants play with more heart than our guys.

No pride.

No effort.

I'm as disappointed tonight by our 'effort' as I have ever been in my memory, including the "player strike" match against North.
