Met Bert Deacon....never saw him play....a bloke I called uncle who was involved with the club when I was very young introduced me to him..told me how good he was....but my era with the Blues started in 1968....yep, on that magic day Bombers couldn't kick straight.

Doull is cool....everybody, any team liked the fella....nothing he did to dislike...even the Hawks fans thought it was funny that night final he had his head band removed....couldn't believe it myself.
