Yep, cant help wonder if it was any one else but Judd who laid the chicken wing tackle, would the AFL
have handled it differently ?

So was Juddy's 4 week suspension given for the offence or because it was Chris Judd ?????

Foul play.

Paul Connors was on SEN this morning and lashed out at the AFL and Mark Fraser. He accused Anderson of influencing the tribunal and slammed Fraser for stating that Judd may have brought the game into disrepute when he has never done this before. Puppet Anderson came on radio later and denied the AFL had any influence. I still dont understand why the AFL had counsel there last night and why did they want 450 points, Why were the AFL involved?

I think your answer lies across the other side of the world at the moment where one turd of a senior AFL Executive Officer is on extended Annual Leave attending the London Olympics.

we are carlton !@#$%& the rest!!!

Lets see how we act on this..... or is it for carlton members consumption ???

i reckon more carlton swagger/ bravado...means jack shit these days...

But what do you want him to do Synners.?

Lay it out now because I know, if I don't get you to say what you want to happen next, you'll say whatever they do is wrong.

I'm saying McKay is right to let people settle down. I reckon that they are furious at the decision , not the ban and if you make decisions when your mad you regret them.

You are seriously having a hard time of it.

CIMM, never argue with idiots, they just bring you down to their level.

I just chuck Sinners on the "foe" list so I don't have to see his obsession every 2nd post. We all know we need change but most of us want it for the right reason.

Too many other important internal areas to focus on re 2013 - club should just move on from this

@ jim

I have a lot of people on my Foes list and it is great. Makes things a lot easier but Synbad isn't one of them. If you don't agree, thats fine but at least he details his arguments and tries to back them up with facts. Thats all you can ask.

I use the foes button to delete some trolls on here that purely use the forum for personal abuse. I certainly DON'T count Synbad as one of them.

It's a disgrace how we have been treated over the last week by the AFL.
We should appeal this.

I try not to get into discussions on this area as it is extremely difficult to articulate properly but the best way to look at it is what is possibly driving these comments and who is the person behind it. Until you meet them and get to know them you need to give the benefit of the doubt.

Synbad is extremely frustrated and angry at what is happening at his club as are a lot of us. As such he vents his anger outwardly and a forum such as this is a good way of doing it.

You will find if you meet people behind the names you will have a different perspective. I have met Synbad briefly as I have a number of people on here and he's a good bloke. Although it was after a fair few drinks! :yikes:

Cimm I can tell you are frustrated as well, I fully understand. Ive gone from that to very angry. Have a look at comments from an unemotional point of view and you might see things differently.

We're all good blokes Psych.

But few of us have had the pleasure of meeting one another, so we have to judge from their posts.

Synners posts are overly negative and often draw on dubious connections between perceived failure and a person connected with the club.

Often there's precious little fact and, in some circumstances, what facts there are are "moulded" to suit the post.

People can only respond to the persona presented on the forums, I'm sure the 'trolls' you've foed are also pretty decent people offline.

That was the joke I was aiming for Lurker but spelt it wrong!....

How about you delete your post, I'll edit mine....nah forget it, I've already been booed off stage.

In all seriousness Outback, it's more about would the media and public have reacted as they did if if was anyone bar Chris Judd rather than the AFL?

Once this thing got out of control the tribunal had no choice. We can question the process all we like, but it's hardly the first time that the AFL have made up stuff on the run.

At the tribunal there were no precedents, or point grading system to justify their decision. He could basically receive any penalty they felt like.

Once it comes down to appeasing the media and supporters of 17 clubs vs Grant Thomas, Denis Cometti and 1 group of supporters it rightly or wrongly became a no brainer.

If Judd appeals, best case scenario is he gets 2 weeks.
He potentially could get 5 i suppose or even a confirmation of the 4.
Given where our season is at, I'd walk away and let the AFL have their win

Sensei Kreese does not approve.

On the flip side to that you could also say given where as season is at fight the charge, as really there is no difference between him getting 4 or 7 weeks.

Not sure if it has been stated anywhere, but I suspect he is ineligible for the Brownlow this year.

Will Carlton even field a table this year? I don't think any of them should bother.

It's just a big obsessive, negative, agenda-filled rant for the sake of being negative with no balance. Almost border on hate. Maybe not but it seems that way. It wouldn't matter who leads the club, it'd be the same. Probably a great bloke, actually from what I hear I'm sure he is, it's just his posting. Prefer not to read it. I passed over his posts 90% of the time anyway.

You posts, on the other hand, have all of the above (well detailed, well though out etc...) but without the obsessive, negative rant and worth the read even if I occasionally disagree.....but often agree too.
