Good to see you in the thread Sedat. Blues should win this one mainly because the Dogs are going so bad. I'd have Hendo or Carrazzo as captain, precious little leadership anywhere else. Jammo is in dreadful form. Yet another player going backwards. Garrett needs a break. Is Kerr likely to get a game? If not, with all our injuries and poor form, why is he still on our list? Setanta wd be handy now. Judd is about the only guy who works hard enough. Too many players just going thru the motions. I wish at least they wd look disappointed when they get flogged. Lucky we are up ag a side worse than us.

..Betts could either kick a big fat bag.. ..or they'll put Lake on him, and he'll outmark all the slow, long bombs we kick to Eddie..

We will lose by 4 goals plus. Low morale and low playing personnel = recipe for disaster.

Unfortunately it would probably take a loss by at least 40 to get Ratts sacked immediately.

With all the players missing Ratts will have to play players in their right position.
This may turn the season around. Whilst Judd and Walker and Kreuzer too may be out, Tuohy should be back.

I don't mind the midfield group this week: Murphy, Gibbs, Carrazzo, Robinson, Scotland, Armfield, McLean and hopefully Ellard for Lucas or Curnow, maybe add Betts and Garlett (if he's playing) all crumbing to Bower and Minson...could be a good laugh if Dogs play shit.

Ratts' career could be saved if we win the next 4 in a row, plus others when Judd gets back. I'm including beating the Swans because of the return of Kreuzer, Walker, Waite and Warnock by then.

Judd and Simspon will be back after that to join the abovementioned and hey anything can happen against Bumbers, GC, and St Kilda in the last 3.

Could be the start of something special with 7 wins in a row giving us 15 wins and sitting 6th with a home final at the G.

Mitchell a good chance to debut.

Nothing but a positive move IMO.

The kid has had two months back now, he won't get any fitter really this season, but should be fine to play inside 50 as a deep target.

I'm not expecting miracles, if he can contest and take a couple of marks, kick a goal or two it would be worth it's weight in gold for the club and Squid's development.

for me

outs - judd (susp), walker (inj), kreuzer (inj), joseph (conc),
ins - casboult, mitchell, bell, touhy

lucas/curnow lucky to be retained.

If kreuzer plays, then only one of casboult/mitchell to debut.

Judd and the club had a pretty important meeting at the tribunal tonight.

Murph showed his support by watching the new batman movie I would assume from his twitter.

How about practicing those 35m set shots murph?

Bullies by plenty.

Whats people opinion on this? Do we actually care?

Bulldogs are very very ordinary. Even without Judd we should win easily.

What does that achieve? We won't make finals and we need changes everywhere.

Personally, I have no idea what to think. :?

I know what you are saying, but it may have been a distraction from the night.

As for those set shots, FMD could we have butchered whatever chances we had any more than Friday night?

That was very very disappointing. Armfield's errors, Carrots missed hand pass and foot pass into the forward line, Jeffy dropping that mark.

Just momentum killers.

I've missed one game in the last 3 years where I've been in the same state as the game (that was for a good friend's wedding), but I'm not going on Saturday.

The way we've been treated by the AFL over the last week, they don't deserve my money. I'm going to the beach.

Who missed the easy shots vs the Eagles in the semi-final?

Murphy missed two if I recollect?

His poor kicking technique when kicking for goal from set shots hasn't been addressed he always seems to chip kick at goal rather than kick it.

Who is goal kicking coach? Fix it!

We've lost 7 of our last 9, riddled with injuries/suspensions, playing at the poison Etihad, they only sit one place below us on the ladder and we've lost the past 3 against them (includes a pretty honest NAB game this year).

Win "easily", hey Psycho, ANY win would be most welcome. Prepared to back us @ $1.40?

I agree with your points but a team with Murphy, Robinson, Yarran, Kruezer, Jamison, Carrazzo etc etc should easily have too much ability for the Bulldogs who are really struggling.

Notice BC I say SHOULD but in no way am I convinced. Just a poor reflection of where we stand

If Waite plays AFL it will be the ultimate sign that Ratts has lost the plot and just coaching for himself
