Hypothetically, if we didn't send anyone to defend Judd, I wonder if the sentence would have been harsher. If not, what a waste of money.

Simon wilson donated his skills.

Thank you.

Andy McKay said they will assess options and notify in the morning.

I don't think it's the 4 week ban, it's being found guilty of intentional not reckless.

Put the boys in cotton wool, book them in for surgery if they need it and field a VFL team if you have to. Better in the long run.

Give em nothing. Pay the fines for no media appearances. Absolute disgrace. Is there one thing we can be good at this year??

I agree, with you.

And it also is a win/win for us and the media as it gives them some more material to talk about us tanking as well.

A joke response to media hype. Collecting people in the head at full speed with the potential to cause quadriplegia is ok as it's part of the game?
Standing on a players hand a reprimand?
Umpire saying he pulled his arm to the roof what a joke, didn't he watch the video before he gave his evidence?

Mind you I think this makes the decision to put the cue in the rack easier, but I wonder how Eddie, Simmo and AJ feel...at least Eddie isn't missing games

4 weeks is pretty fair - compared to what? Adams is unlikely to miss a week and yet we suggest what Judd did was as bad as any incident this year.

Compared to the cowardly act of seeing an arm and grappling with it when a guy is defenseless on the ground.
Even if you run through someone there is a risk of a head clash or in Hamills case a knee.

Eye gouging and chicken winging is tsk tsk tsk... piss poor....no room for it in the game ...and the AFL turned it into a circus for a reason.

Juddy is the fool who put himself in the naughty boys chair... now he must sit in the corner.

And we better learn from this and get stronger and more focussed and stop bein g the pathetic club we are

4 weeks for grabbing a defenseless arm and beating on it when nothing can happen to you is lucky in my book.

As I said elsewhere we look forward to the media lighting up their torches and waving their cudgels and pitchforks during the Zeibell case as well.

I understand and tend to agree. What about supporters and members though like me that will fork out thousands of my hard earned to come over for the rich game? Not so black and white.

If I didn't know better I'd swear you didn't even see the incident.

So Andy McKay is worthy of ridicule as well. What's he guilty of? Playing in the '95 Premiership with Sticks. ?

Is he too smart, not smart enough, South Ozzie, bald, vet?

He's done the right thing, there's obviously some anger at the process and even the outcome and like a smart man he's going to let the anger subside.
