what a joke. hope this goes to the courts - AFL gag the clubs, but they butt in on this case and declare the report as bringing the game into disrepute.

It's the inconsistency (as usual) that is the major issue...

How does Josh Hunt, who stood on Eddie Betts' hand with the clear intention of hurting Betts, get nothing while Judd gets four weeks?!

It's just staggering. I don't mind Judd being suspended and think he deserved about two weeks. But for Judd to get four and Hunt nothing?

I think it's on the high side of fair, as I said earlier today: 3 or 4 weeks.

It was a stupid thing to do and inexcusable. And I still can't fathom how anyone can seriously deny that. Anyone that claims they wouldn't be upset if the same actions were repeated to a Carlton player is lying.

However, I certainly don't agree that it brought the game into disrepute.

I think Cyril Rioli (v Carlton 2012) and Daniel Jackson (fined for his 'chicken wing' tackle in R5 2009), as two examples, are very lucky. And that merely continues the frustration of the ongoing inconsistency displayed by the MRP and tribunal.

Anyway, it's over now, time to deal with it and move on. :beer:

It's a farce, but it's done and dusted now. Accept it and move on - just like Chris Judd. I would however be completely shutting up shop against the media. It's a requirement of the CBA to front up to interviews...doesn't mean you have to give them. Start planning for 2013, Blues. Put the boys in cotton wool, book them in for surgery if they need it and field a VFL team if you have to. Better in the long run.

4 weeks is pretty fair - compared to what? Adams is unlikely to miss a week and yet we suggest what Judd did was as bad as any incident this year.
