Saw that vision from on the couch tonight... what Cyril that night to Warnock was just as bad but not a mention at all. Glad Mike brought it up tonight.

Confusion, frustration and utter despair will do it to you.
And you blokes complain about excuses being made for the coach

This is Judd's fault and Judd's alone. To pretend otherwise is ludicrous.

Chris has been an absolute revelation at our footy club. I have marvelled at his brilliance and sat there in sheer amazement applauding some of his feats. But this incident leaves me stumped.

Call it a brain fade, call it frustration, call it unprofessional, call it stupidity. Call it whatever you want but it was just plain wrong. I think there is a strong chance we will not be seeing Chris Judd again in 2012. The AFL will want to make a statement here and with Judd they can do so with one of the games big names.

I can see Juddy getting a 5-6 week holiday. And if that's the case there is no reason whatsoever to bring him back for the last round or two. By then our season will be done and dusted...

Yeah it is pretty ridiculous. Will not happen for another 100 years either.

I'm starting to think this is going to be blown out like the Greg Williams touching a umpire. Gets 9-11weeks suspension and wasn't much in it. Media is going so hard on this to get a very lengthy suspension.

I still think it is only worth a warning / fine to 1 week, but l think the way the media is buzzing over this it will be a 3-6 week stint. If the AFL only give 1-2 weeks, AFL will have a media storm on it. If it gives 3-6 weeks, the media will be happy.

Still beats me how Josh Hunt got a fine for stomping on Betts' hand, not once but twice. I am sure that was also misconduct but the MRP came up with a penalty. No media frenzy i guess.

seriously synbad, just when you are starting to make sense about the trouble the club is in.

judd hasnt said a word since the incident and you're prepared to jump all over him based on what you saw from the stands or on tv.

as for C Judd bringing the game into disrepute........???

Won't be able to defend himself, seems like everyone has already made up their mind in the media and everywhere else. When a reporter asks an Essendon* player what he thinks about Juddy's act, you have as much chance as Tony MOkbel of getting a fair hearing. Thank God it's only footy and the year is a waste anyway.

That's why this whole Judd thing shits me. flower and fat prick Hunt got off for standing on another players' fingers (twice) with considerable weight. So much so was able to pin Betts down...and got a free kick for it. Shits me.

Joseph getting knocked out and not a free paid...and I shouldn't feel persecuted. Shits me.
North 7 goals from 7 frees of which maybe 2 were legit frees. [REDACTED] up a potentially competitive game...win or lose, I hate umpires influencing goals...especially when they're to Carlton's opponents.

I love the way Eddie Maguire defends his team in a persecuted manner...basically tell everyone to lay off his team because he'll bite. Their motto this year is "Us against Them". Nothing wrong with telling people you're not happy. We've had a decade of this shit!!!!

We're Carlton so get off our case you cheating pricks. Then we move on.
I'm talking everyone non Carlton, including umpires who can't handle a few honest tweets.

Judds gawn...yep another Carlton persecution...scapegoat...and some can sit here and condone it.
Well I think its all that flower tall poppy sybdrome shit.....worse, it's anti Carlton behaviour that's going on.

Warn him. maybe give him a week because of the other shit and send a strong message that the penalty will be 4 weeks next time. Can't make this shit up on the run.

The consensus tonight on 360 and the couch was about 4 weeks. I could be completely wrong but I still think that is way too harsh.

Completely at the discretion of the tribunal now. So anywhere from 2 to 10.

Imagine how ratts is feeling??

If it's 4 weeks then the Tribunal guys have been reading too many papers and watching too much TV (or have been spoken to). Hopefully they're impartial to all that but 'me thinks' no.

It's been asked what if someone had done that to Murph? My question ..... would it have caused as much outrage if Judd had done it to someone like Barry Hall?

It's probably reflective of our season that most of us seem more worried about the media's hysterical reporting on the incident, than what actual penalty he might get. To be honest, as long as it's less than eight (ie Rnd 1 next year) I probably wont care myself.

Will be unlucky for yourself as the chances of your son seeing him on his first interstate trip is minimal. Did the trip from SA with my kids who are similar age and for me personally his game was about our only highlight of the night.

Call it self inflected, but three Kangaroos get suspended from the game, not including Thomas' piss weak late hit on Joseph and we are the ones that in everyone's eyes come out smelling like shit.

Only at Carlton...

Breaking my heart that I am pre positioning my son that we are going over to watch the northern blues and we will likely get smashed.

Certainly didn't anticipate we would be where we are when we planned the trip in January.

I still reckon 3 or 4 weeks is overs however evidently I'm in the minority.

How can a current employee of an AFL club be on the "independent" AFL tribunal panel???? :?

I think Eade would be one who will go easier on Juddy than the others.....

Im picking 4 to 6.

Its not something the AFL want creeping into the game.
